Pretoria: Institute for Security Studies and Orange Orbit Productions. The Security Sector Governance Program of the Institute for Security Studies produced a documentary on the gendered transformation of the security sector in South Africa.
It provides this overview through tracking the journeys of three women who have been instrumental in bringing about change within the security sector, namely, Major General Ntsiki Memela-Motumi - Chief Director: Transformation Management at the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), Honourable Thandi Modise - Speaker of National Assembly of the Republic of South Africa and previous chair of the portfolio committee on Defence and Dr Mala Singh - former Deputy National Commissioner of the South African Police.
