You're asking about the swatik sign and om sign which are regared as shapeless sign and God followed by aryas but initially follow by everyone in Hinduism. Basically when Ursa major moves around the pole star then it makes the same shape which is used a worship material. That's all I want to say.

That old man had never read those epics. In Ramayan SriRam ate tasted fruits from a scheduled tribe woman. In Gita , Srikrishna himself told that 'Sarvadharman parityajya mamekan saran braja' . Means By giving up all caste and religion only follow me. And SriRam shared his throne with Sita mata to show that male female are equal.
