my favorite Klaus line is from a Hot Ones video where he first eats the reaper with Sean Evans. he says "this is a little hotter than my Scandinavian cousins". haha I first took that as him having some really sexy cousins and he was making a joke, then someone ruined it and explained he was talking about the reaper and its Scandinavian breed.

Also can note that a lot of these peppers are very fresh and has definitely been washed. This means that there really isn't any oils at all on the outer skin. So as long as they touch the outer skin or stems, they are honestly 100% safe to touch their eyes, as there isn't any oil on their hands.
