37 year old Spanish/Kiwi guy here. Same thing happened to me. Even my own twin sister and mother turned demonic and left me for dead (my loving, Christian father passed away in 2003). It's tough but if you've got God you will make it and your new life he gives you is spectacular!! It's a long, tough road through the desert... but once you see the purpose in it (spiritual growth), it has a kind of desolate, lonely, ethereal beauty... I lived in South America for five years. it reminds me of the Atacama desert. But hang in there and you'll eventually reach the Iguazu Falls/natural paradise (blessings and rewards of God's plans for your life)! 😅

You are His work. I too was an atheist and a God hater until age 35 or so. I'm 48 now. IMMEDIATELY, when I told my wife I was a Christian she said the marriage was over, that she would take the children and everything from me. The devil was in her eyes and she proceeded to smear me mercilessly to anyone and everyone who would listen. She went from loyal wife to rabid demon because she considered my belief in Jesus Christ to be betrayal of her as she knew that I now believed that God existed and was supreme in my life. She did everything she could over about 3 years to make my life as miserable as possible before finally saying she would stay and tolerate me. I have suffered immensely at her hands and she curses God to this day and belittles me at every opportunity for being intellectually inferior to her for believing in God. Nevertheless, Father in Heaven has kept me in His hand and I know Jesus will in no wise cast me out! We must take up our cross daily and follow Him and know that we have been appointed unto suffering. We have been adopted as children into the family of God and we have been given not only faith in Christ Jesus but suffering for His name sake. The world hated Him and they will hate us. What is amazing is how one can see the reality of spiritual warfare once God regenerates us and translates us into His kingdom. We are pilgrims and sojourners here. We are despised! Pray for your family and for mine. No matter what, remember that the God of creation has chosen to have mercy on you. Father in Heaven drew you and gave you eyes to see and ears to hear. BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD FOREVER AND EVER! AMEN!

Believed what God's Word said about His identity - check. Didn't seek vengeance on those who mocked Him during His crucifixion, but instead converted many of them into complete forgiveness - check. Was not physically attractive - check. I wonder if you apply any of these to your definition of masculinity. Perhaps glorifying Jesus Christ as "masculine" involves more than being a good boxer in good shape. There's nothing wrong with that, but as you can read there's a lot more to being masculine, since Jesus is our ultimate role model for being a man. I know I fall short in many of these areas, and I am physically attractive, and I have to keep my ego in check when women hit on me, and politely decline. I also struggle in many of these other examples He has given us, and have a few strengths in some of them. It seems to me that becoming masculine and becoming like Jesus are basically the same thing, as long as your definition isn't shallow. Just thought I'd throw in a reality check for those reading your comment. That's great you are not giving into lust anymore man. But something that has helped me with this besides praying a lot is Proverbs 4:14-15 14 "Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers." 15 "Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way." I believe it means to not fight/battle sin but turn away from sin and turn towards god. Because I don't believe we are strong enough to fight sin. We have to repent and leave it behind. And if you fall into this sin again. Pray again, repent and turn away from the sin and I promise you God will do the fighting for you. This is the mentality that has helped me tremendously and @thedavidhammond please correct me if I am wrong in this advice. you are much more wise in the Holy Spirit than I and I am still working on strengthening my relationship with God.

I have a mild case of BPD but I also have complex trauma and I think I have HSP too. I have to watch it with suicide because I have felt pushed over the edge. I am going through a lot. But I worry about men and they do need to see that not all women are the same. You have to learn to love yourself through God's help then you love others.

That way you'll be walking in the spirit and will have less desire to sin as you draw near to God and if you do sin repent and confess you sin to God and he will forgive you. You can also fast for 3 days or more if you can every so often. Then find a community of brothers you fellowship with at your local church

One of the biggest traits I respect about ya David, is your honesty…I subscribed almost 2 months ago and witnessed your humbleness and mistakes, love your channel…with that said David, please I’d really love to hear your reply on an issue I’m struggling with and I know you’ll tell it like it is… You and I both are not married and even though im not one who goes sleeping around as I fully believe in true connection. God is The Soverign Authority. Read anywhere in the old testament, because thoughts like those are what lead many to being lukewarm. I'm referring to "is it really that bad", remember that as much as God is loving, He is also Just. Hebrews 12:6 "for the Lord disciplines the one He loves and punishes every son He receives.". Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we deliberately sin after receiving knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.". Dont play with sin, I don't want you to trip and fall and stumble over fleeting things. And definitely don't think God is a teddy bear god, He is The Almighty. Sin is so serious to God that unbelievers go to hell forever because they reject Him. And you know you'll feel awful after you've fornicated, too.

I wish I had an older brother like you man, it would be much easier in life to get a hold on certain things and get you back accountable when you fall back. most of those things they promote, they don't enjoy it themselves, they just enjoy showing them to other people, in reality, their lives are always empty and hollow. It's always sugar coated when you see it but irl it feels like what am I doing right now? You can't measure people's happiness. When I sleep well, train hard and be a disciple of Jesus I was always happy, every single day. Then I fall in the addiction of corn. We are different members of the body of Christ, we don't all have the same calling, it's about being in service to Christ. I'm not less of a man if my service to the Kingdom is to care for the elderly and speak the word of God into them instead of travelling to Iraq to convert Muslims into Christians. Hey mate, I am curious why you don't believe catholics to be real christians? because, if i am correct, that would mean that christianity was invented with the prodestant reformation. I am a Catholic, I love Jesus, I love god, I pray every day, I do not believe in works based salvation (The official catholic teaching is that salvation is by faith alone, and that works precede out of faith), and I also believe that you need to be baptised or as Prodestants say "Born Again". I think the problem is that you may have heard some stuff against Catholicism from preachers or pastors or whatever. I would love to have a conversation with you as to why you think catholics aren't real christians, bacause hopefully I can change your mind, or you can change mine. Also, side note, we don't worship mary or any of the other saints, what we do is we ask them to pray for us, Jesus is lord, and we worship the same trinitarian god that you do NO ONE ELSE. Anyone that places the saints as anything above us or equal to god does not reflect the catholic church as a whole.

I go to a gym that has a lot of Muslims. Everyday they give me looks for wearing Jesus and a flag of Israel…when I look at them back, they look away! They won’t dare say anything!
