@briant6669 Yes, that does happen, but it is very rare. Every woman wants to paint the picture that all men are this way. This is exactly why the good men refuse to be with a divorced woman. I spent years, going to work, giving every dime I made to my family, coming home to help around the house, spending my nights helping my children with homework, and my weekends taking care of the yard and home repairs. Nothing I did was good enough. Then, after my divorce, I met woman after woman who told me that their ex was a good man but something was missing, they fell out of love, they didn't know why but they just weren't happy. No claims of abuse, they just wanted to break their marriage.

I'm Canadian. I've had four run-ins with bears in my life. I came between a black bear and her cubs when I was very young, and I think I survived it because she realized I wasn't a threat. I had two encounters with brown bears during my military days. And I had one with a very emaciated polar bear who was in no state to do anything to me, and this bear had rode an iceberg from Labrador and came ashore basically almost starved and couldn't deal with the heat once here. Still, it was terrifying. Anyone who thinks they would choose a bear over a man has no concept what a bear is.
