The "women have it easier" is a lazy response to invalidate someone else's hard work and success, while exposing one's jealousy. It really needs to go. I've followed the channel for years and the amount that I've learned from it has made me a better streamer. I'm sure it has made many people into better streamers.

as a woman who streams on twitch with lots of fem friends in streaming too, there has been a noted rise in this behavior where we have a network of info every time this happens they get blocked on all platforms. it sucks they cant just enjoy what we put out. :(

I don’t think it applies to everyone specially not you because you work hard! But their are woman on Twitch that put their self’s out their like that and does make it easy of them. Not saying that there are not any girls that don’t work hard and grind I know some. But far as a man stand point you can be so funny and entertaining. But you get a woman that’s showing off her goods playing the same game? Yes theirs creeps all over Twitch which makes it hard of woman that want to grind, play games and enjoy their content. I think it goes both ways. But I do support you, and I am grateful for finding your channel it has help me with my channel I run with my wife. I hope nothing I said is taken wrong. I know you guys put up a lot I see in our channel inbox we men only see my wife in the pic and don’t even noticed me most of time. To i reply. Even seen some unfollow when she’s streamed by herself but I stream next by myself. So I promise I’m not hating I give credit where credit is due. I only follow woman on Twitch that I enjoy and see their content.

I always find the 'woman that show boobs' argument weak as why would you assume anyone to be okay with showing their goods. I also think that if you have a problem with them getting views, you shouldn't only be mad at the girls but also at the guys who watch them. Why only blame one party. women just can't win in this space 😭 luckily the weird guys tend to weed themselves out early. I think some women have it slightly easier in the very beginning of streaming, but it's mostly cause of weird flirting culture and stuff. But I believe that's where the jealousy might come from. Overall, though, we all start on the same playing field, 0-3 viewers, and a couple of chat messages if we are lucky.

Look, I like ya Trui but -- let's stop the facade. I know it's tough to admit but it IS easier for a female on a platform where the audience is majorly men. I know you want to believe that it's due to hard work, dedication, and passion but believe me, that is only 60% of the reason. I'm sorry to tell ya... Perhaps this doesn't apply to EVERY female streamer and you MAY find yourself being the exception but by in large, it does apply. I have seen this for myself and have undeniable proof. My friend and I both started streaming 4 years ago. We both play/stream the same game (Fallout 76). We have similar stream schedules and have similar personalities. We even stream together as we both play at the same time. She is currently at 6k followers, around 1k subs, and has a consistent 80-150 viewers every stream. I on the other hand have 200 followers, 3 subs, and get a max 7 viewers. Do you know how I even acquired those 200 followers? Through her shouting me out and playing with her on stream... Fact of the matter is that a majority of men would rather watch a woman play/stream than to watch someone like me do the same. I know y'all are going to dislike this but that's just the way it is. I've accepted. My friend has accepted it. It's time you accept it.

I don't know this other person and I haven't watched your streams. But there is no way your stream is exactly the same as hers. A lot of woman are very good in community building as they are VERY social, a skill that works very well for streamers, it's definitely an advantage. But it's not a skill that comes with just being a woman. There is a big chance she is a very social person and that is a big reason why she is blowing up. Like I said I do not know her or have watched your streams, but this would be my best guess reading your story.
