Seeing Rose here seriously made me want to cry, my sister is planning to come out to our parents as a trans woman on her birthday in 2 weeks and to be honest I'm absolutely terrified about how they will react, especially when we come from a *very* traditional Korean family and she is the only "grandson" in our family. I couldn't help but see a little bit of my sister in Rose and hope that she will be accepted as much as Rose is being accepted by Thomas and everyone in the comments here T^T
@avidmaniac8 жыл бұрын
yeyewalkways this made me smile..... i hope your parents know that making her feel bad will only hurt her, not change her. i "came out" a few days ago i suggested it a ton and it was really hard for me

Going to be honest, my mum is very very understanding, but she definitely didn't seem it at first. I really hope they're supportive, but you and your sister may have to be patient. It's like explaining calculus to a child; it's an alien concept that they're unlikely to get at first.

Hey everyone, thank you for the good wishes! She really appreciates it >< It went... about as well as I'd hoped, and though our parents didn't react violently (thank god) they are definitely disapproving and our dad still hopes that "he" will still change "his" mind. My mum seems to be struggling between supporting my sister and being really really upset whenever she wants to do something "feminine". I think there's hope in there, it might just take... a lot of time and effort ^^ On a lighter note, we went shopping for clothes recently and it was super fun! We got lots of cute clothes (bless thrift stores) and we're looking into getting makeup and contacts and all that jazz! ^^

Thomas! Irena Sendler! She went undercover as a plumber(?) and snuggled out her children and infants! She used dogs to scare away the soldiers and cover up the baby cries! She got caught and had both her legs and arms broken and beaten severely. After the war (WW2) she used a list she had made of all the kids and families and tried to reunite as many of them as possible, some lost their families and ended up in orphanages or got adopted! She saved thousands of lives!

KATHERINE GOBLES IS MY FEMALE HERO! If you didn't know, she grew up as a African-American woman. She was amazing at math, so good, that when she was 7 she had the math level of an 8th grader. She eventually got into NASA, doing rocket science. No one liked her, just because of the color of her skin. (P.s. This was in the 1950's) although this didn't stop her. She had to work with all white men, because she was in that high position. She had to walk a mile just to go to a segregated bathroom for herself. She eventually got so upset with the boss, when he asked why she was gone for 40 minutes a day she replied an argument against her workers for being racist. Basically, her boss took down the segregated signs so she could go right outside the hall and use the restroom. Plus, she was now allowed to use the same coffee maker as the rest of them. But, people still didn't like her. So, she demanded to go into the business room for a meeting, and her boss let her. They needed math quickly, so they decided to let Katherine do it. Within getting the coordinates within a minute, with dividing, multiplying, adding, & subtracting everyone was shocked. As she did an amazing job and was recognized. Now, the person going into space even said as long she knew what the math was behind all this, then he's ready to go. Of course after she saved their butts, they finally accepted her. And she got engaged and married as well. She never gave up on her dream, and helped people understand the problem with segregation. She made a huge change in history. Therefore, she will always be one of my biggest heroes. Even though I am white, I will never believe black woman have any less of a right than us. They're amazing and smart people. Never give up what you believe in, because Katherine got the world somewhere better by doing that.

Two amazing women not mentioned: Jerrie Mock and Margaret Hamilton (not the actress). Jerrie Mock succeded where Amelia Earhart failed and was the first women to fly solo around the world. Do some research on her, she's a fascinating woman. Margaret Hamilton did all the coding that made it possible to get us to space. Look her up, and the first picture is her standing next to a huge stack of books, which are her HAND WRITTEN coding, that's taller than her in heels.

As a college student majoring in animation, I always hear about Disney, Miyazaki, etc. and they're great, but why don't we ever talk about the women who pioneered in animation? How refreshing to see someone impressed by women's contribution to history because of what they accomplished, not dismissing their role in history because they happen to be a different gender than what they identify as. Thank you for providing links for your audience to read more about these incredible history makers, and for publishing an inclusive, kind, needed video!

Trickster Prince Can this woman carry a child does HE have eggs or any female reproductive organs also everything you just said about going deep into biology and evidence of transgender being valid is complete horseshit and you know it science proves only the opposite no matter how hard someone tries to be what they aren't it won't work you should leave this false reality you're in

I don't understand how people need to make comments about the genders... this is such good video. WHY do some people need to discuss how others feel in their own bodies? It's almost as out of time as discussing if women should wear trousers! Just enjoy the good vibes of his videos! Nobody spreads Google mood more than Thomas!

You, good sir, are an amazing human being. Sometimes, when I fell as if I don't matter, your videos make me smile, and remember. We all matter. Thank you so much for helping thousands, if not millions of people around the world. WE LOVE YOU!

I've seen so many comments about people saying rose is beautiful and whatnot, I agree but does anyone see the other women, they were in the video as well, just because she is a trans doesn't mean she should get all the complimentary comments, all the women are equally as beautiful.
@luizapinavaz33477 жыл бұрын
Kubble Case they are not offending anyone. Let people compliment rose, Karen
@Evoriya6 жыл бұрын
The compliments aren’t just cause she’s trans? It’s just cause she’s generally beautiful and people are appreciating that? There’s nothing wrong with compliments don’t get salty just cause one person is more popular than the others when it comes to the compliments
