Well Done Elle! A well spoken and presented talk - especially when you decided to improvise the whole process. Clever you for deciding that over-rehearsed speeches can lose the audience's interest. True, unfortunately we cannot control everything (especially in booking movers and trades) -no matter how hard we try. But that is part of the "chaos theory" that makes the world go round. Thought it was funny when you mentioned Jo is more laid back about these kind of unplanned twists. My DH has the same attitude to almost anything (probably due to his profession) - whilst I can lose my top with anything that throws out my planning :) But, this is why Jo is perfectly complemented to you. Hope Fufu has settled in - kittys can get so nervous in new territory but I do find that they pick up on vibes in a place. So if Fufu is happy - you can be assured you are in the right place too! Noticed musical instrument cases in the new apartment - is Jo a saxophonist?? :) Good luck as you embark on a new chapter together !!! Helen x
