FFE, as for feeling guilt for not having enough sympathy for women: Once I realized just how much more compassionate I am towards women, I began feeling guilt at how little compassion I had for men (in relative terms). In the name of equality, I now feel guilt anytime I reflexively feeeel compassion for a woman that I would not feel for a man in that same situation. In other words, I intentionally chastise myself for such behaviour. That has greatly helped my ability to feel more for men and it has massively increased my appreciation/gratitude/respect for men.

I took the family to disney world in early 2000s in Florida. We ended up taking the wrong bus getting home in the evening, we ended up in Miami bus station and it was scary, the weird feeling i got watching the people around me and i was glad when the bus finally turned up and we could get out of there. The problem i had is my wife and grandson didn't seem to understand the danger.
