Women of God, RISE! Hosting Your OWN Titus 2 Event

There is just 1 issue that no one talks about. Don't just invite cute, thin, educated, perfect girls in perfect outfits. If instagram is any indication, Christian girls start a whole lot of pretty girl cliques. It's a sin to be exclusive. When I was a young mother, I was constantly meeting women who were in doctor's wives clubs, book clubs, Bible studies, and homeschool groups that were exclusive. They literally would only include you if you went to an elite college or were a doctor's daughter or if you were married to someone rich or popular in the community, etc. Then, I'd be invited to MLM parties in an attempt to make money off me or recruit me. All Christian women. Don't be that person. If you've done it to the least, you've done it to Him.

I YEARN to have women I can connect with.. but its ironic, coming from a large community, I have zero community. Most everyone in my Russian orthodox churches are either drunk wives who bash their husband and hate their kids, or they are working moms and children are in daycare all day. I can't connect to anyone!! I have nothing in common with the drunks bc I'm 7 years sober so I'm seen as an outcast.. there's women who work full time and their kids are 15+.. while i just had my second baby!! My children are 2.5yo and newborn. Totally different phases of life for me

YES!! You inspired me a couple of months ago to host a Titus 2 event before I got married and it was such a blessing. I gained so much wisdom from women who have been married anywhere from 8 to 50+ years!! All of the women loved it and it was just a great time to fellowship and learn🥰

I remember when you did your first one and posted a reel on it. I think it’s cool that it was something God pressed on your heart to do and so you did it for your local village and probably never really intended for it to be something that would be shared very widely, but so many of us internet strangers have gotten a huge blessing out of it. I haven’t even done one yet but just the idea of bringing women together in this way seems so cool to me.

So timely! Love these helpful tips on inviting people to your home! I really want wisdom from a seasoned godly mother/wife. Especially during these times of so much isolation in our busy days, this biblical wisdom is so powerful for me. Thank you! This past week we had opened our doors to a Bible study and shared pot luck dinner at our home for the first time, with our church worship leader leading it. I’ve been praying for a Bible study at our home for over a year now (when we didn’t even attend a church yet) and didn’t think it be possible in this short amount of time and to that extent. The Lord is so faithful to bless His children, so let’s be faithfully ready/prepared to receive. ❤

God put this on my heart in January to do something like this at my home. We had an issue at home and I wanted to have a woman (older) come and speak to younger woman. I wanted this woman to never be divorced and a woman who had older kids who were all saved. God put it on my heart to have a jar as well where people can ask questions. I shared it with two women and they were so offended that I wanted the standard of married to one man and Godly children. I put the idea aside. But you sharing this is so exciting because this is what God shared with me. No woman is perfect. But I want a woman with certain standards

I’ve been listening to mom podcasts that give such horrible worldly advice that I’ve had to shut it off and I’d tell my husband about it and I would say “That’s why Milena and Jordan talk about MOTHERING and FATHERING” (etc.) and how the other podcasts go against scripture and he goes “yeah- how are they doing by the way?” Meaning- stop listening to those podcasts and revisit AFMH ❤ I truly thank God for you and your husbands knowledge.

Hey Milena, I know this may sound strange but some weeks ago I had a dream I was speaking with you about this. In my dream I was saying to you that you are an example of this to younger women it was right along the lines of this video. I thought it was a random dream but clearly it is not. You have such wisdom and you teach not just younger but older women. I also believe that even though someone may be young they can be older in the Lord and so can impart that wisdom to those new in faith- I think you do that exceptionally well❤

That was my question too. My church is in a military community and the average age is probably mid 30s and not many older women (who specifically have walked with the Lord for longer than the young ones)

I would consider an "wiser" mom would be either a mom who have grandkids or a mom who's adult kids are out of college age.
