My son is 4 and he in the last two weeks has been saying he is having bad dreams on and off. I have asked him about the dreams and they definitely feel spiritually driven. He is so interested in God, we talk about Jesus, David, Daniel, Joseph, Moses, etc every day. He asked about Jesus on the cross and why He had the crown of thorns and nails in his hands, etc and I don't keep anything from him. He told me a few weeks ago he wanted to be with Jesus all the time so we prayed together about that. He is so sensitive to the Spirit of God and I've been trying to pour into that as much as I can and apologize when I lose my temper and use myself as examples of why I need Jesus. I really believe he is going to follow Jesus from a young age and Satan is trying to come against him. So yesterday when he told me in the car "Mom I never have nice dreams" I told him "Daddy and I are going to pray with you every night so your bad dreams go away. If God can protect Joseph and help David, He can stop your bad dreams." I asked him today if he had any bad dreams when he woke up and he smirked and said "No there were animals, there was a gorilla and he was nice to me". Praise God!

Hiya, I'm an athiest/non believer and I'm genuinely asking this out of curiosity and kindness. I worked in Early Years settings prior to being a sahm but there's certain things we make more age appropriate due to the developmental stage that children's brain is at. Your son's imagination is wildly active at this age & it's harder to distinguish stories from day to day reality. In your mind, what is the benefit of telling him gory details so young? Do you feel the message of jesus/god is less impactful without the full details? And why does he need to follow so intensely at such a young age, rather than just teaching love, kindness, honesty etc & using bible quotes to help him learn those things? I'm glad he's not having any more bad dreams! ❤❤

@@thiswildelifexGods word is the living truth and we should not sugar coat anything about the Bible when teaching, we read it word for word and answer their questions appropriately and with direction from God. 🩵

@@thiswildelifex It’s amazing you are here in Milenas comments asking questions and a good one at that! I agree with you- kids minds should be protected from a lot. I have a 6 year old who is very curious about the Bible, even in children’s church we do teach there is good and bad. Evil and pure. So, personally we taught yes Jesus was nailed to the cross by the enemy. I would never show him the passion of the Christ 😂 at a young age but I feel that I tell my son the truth while focusing on the resurrection and the way the battle was won, by Him. ❤ Proverbs 4:23-27 "Protect your mind, for life flows from it. Have nothing to do with a corrupt mouth; keep devious lips far from you. Focus your eyes straight ahead; keep your gaze on what is in front of you"

@@thiswildelifex thanks for your question. I understand not sharing gory details and agree with you. It's in pictures and descriptions in children's Bibles (mine is geared 3-7) and he naturally wants to know what the crown is, what is wrong with His hands. It is part of the story of how Jesus redeemed us and the sacrifice He made for us showing us how much Jesus loves us. There are things he asks that I say he does not need to know right now, etc but those are very basic things about the cross that if asked I'm not going to lie to him about

My church is full of mainly all elderly women and there is one in particular that will always stand out in my mind. A sweet woman named Teressa. The lord told her that her husband would be saved. She prayed for him all her days and was a great witness to many people. No matter what she went she was talking to someone about the Lord. Well her husband got sick and the doctors told her he was going to die and she prayed against it and he lived 10 more years. He got sick a few years ago again and this time it was his time to pass. God is so faithful my pastor went to his house that night to be with him and he got saved the day he passed away. His wife had never been so relieved and fully of joy then she was that day.

"the things we want to happen?" We should never rely on our own understanding.. John 5:30 "I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me". Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". 1 John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us". Luke 22:42: “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine be done” When I look back on situations that I would have loved to go "my way" in the moment, I am so glad God had a greater plan.

I love your videos Milena, but I feel like this video was my answered prayer. I have been struggling with temper tantrums that have gotten worse as my little one has gotten older (6 yrs). We live in a god loving home; however I have let her watch movies and have way too much screen time. I have noticed that this causes those moments with her. It was so nice hearing the confirmation and having a zero-screen time home and redoing my motherly authority to her is the right path. We are ever changing our routine, and I feel like finally we are becoming the Christian household I have always prayed for. Thank you for all that you do!

This was a great reminder and so encouraging. Thank you. I have been listening to Dale’s podcast that you linked. I agree with everything he is saying. He definitely spoke to me regarding empty nesters and woman having several children. I currently have 2, my youngest being 3 and eldest 7. I am already losing that motherly/nesting feeling and it’s quite depressing. We just have to be discerning that we aren’t falling into a religious spirit as opposed to a gospel driven relationship with Jesus.

Thank you Milena! I used to wonder before I became a mom. How one could lose their temper on a baby. Now I am a mother and as much as I love my baby I will lose it. It’s been a huge conviction and I know I need to be closer to God. I ask him to give me patience. And right after I say it I go over to apologize; I spoil her with love. I don’t want my baby to remember me being mean, but loving. I also want her to know what she does is wrong.

Please, never generalize, that women tend to this or that... there is a plenty of women with a quiet personality, without rebellious spirit, firmer in character and faith then their husbands (even prevail men in this point), without tendencies to scold, to exaggerate, to be overly emotional or overly talkative... Extraverts in general, think that everyone is like them, that every woman is disobedient, loud, unhumble, resentful, grumpy... its so far from truth.. its women, who are more flexible, adaptible, softer, easier to find compromise/solution than men. Why nobody teaches men on their tendencies? Why men are tought that women are shallow persons who cannot speak and think clearely and logically, that they annoy men for the rest of their life and it's "a prize they pay when they marry"? Why if smth is off in marriage its mostly on wife? Its because "she cannot this or that "...

I have a genuine question 🙋‍♀️ What makes you think that wives has to do everything for their husbands and if husbands for example do something for “you” like taking the trash out it kinda have to be earned. Is it not his house too? Why it is not required him to do even a half of a job that the wives are doing. Even tho the man is head of the family. I just don’t understand could someone explain this to me? Is there something that I have misunderstood.😳🫣 Please be kind with your answers cause this topic is new to me.😊

I generally don't comment on videos or reply to others. So I'll let you know in advance I will likely not give a second reply because I will not see further comments. But I hope I have something helpful to share. In my marriage I do not work outside of the house, I do not earn money, I raise our children and take care of our home. My husband and I have a few spoken rules such as he reads stories to the girls before bedtime, he makes breakfast unless we agree the night before that he won't be home (I'm pregnant and my morning sickness is how this rule came about.) I take care of the children and provide for all their needs during the normal work day and I make dinner unless otherwise agreed upon. And there are so many unspoken rules and jobs in the house that have become my responsibility in my role as stay at home mom and homemaker. I try to keep up on all the laundry but if I'm getting behind my husbands is the last to be folded and put away Not because I expect him to do it, but because if he has time to help out around the house taking care of his clothes is much easier than taking care of the other laundry that he isn't familiar with. This is our family dynamic specifically but I believe there are plenty of other SAHMs that have similar dynamics. And for whatever reason taking out the trash does tend to be a blue job as my sister lovingly termed it. I am fully capable of taking out the trash and if my husband isn't home I regularly do, but it does seem he has claimed it as his chore and will take the bag from me if he is home. Anyway I hope this brings a little light to your question even though it doesn't answer it in its entirety.
