I for one am happy for Salwa and glad to see her back.She never tested positive for any thing.She was tested multiple times in 2019 after that beautiful 48:12 and the suspension was pushed by Shauni Webo who is one of these athletes that believe if you beat her you must be cheating.I will also add the the behavior of Afeleke supporters towards SALWA at the post race press conference was disgraceful and abusive .Webo is also known for causing problems for the late Cory Glover.

@@miquelbuckinx4074 Those are only splits with a running start (Allison Felix ran a 47 sec split but her PB in the open 400m was only 49.1). Both are about a second slower than their splits in the open 400m (based on her indoor WR I'd expect Bol to get under 49 secs eventually outdoors). Sydney isn't within half a second of Paulino or Naser's PBs and Femke is over a second behind them. Why even bring them up at this point? Sydney hasn't even broken the American record yet which is "only" 48.70. Based on PBs, Sydney would've been 3rd in this race.

She put her all into it. You ever sprint 400m? Those last few meters make you want to walk. She was done (beat/tired) and she knew she won so she didn't have to push her body anymore than that. It's not healthy to overdo it just for fans who don't know anything and don't care if you have to leave the track in a wheelchair like Van Niekirk had to do when he would sprint all out 400m and couldn't get up off the ground.

Athletes have an app to update drug testers on the general location they're located. In the space of 12 months they turned up to test her four times at the location provided, and she wasn't anywhere to be seen and they couldn't get in contact her. This is highly unusual for top athletes and it happened after she'd set the fastest 'clean' time in history, a time she ran despite it being her fifth race in five days.
@Mart-B

I should add that one of the four times the tester apparently knocked on the wrong door, and she claims to have had a flight cancelled for another one, but it's still very unusual. She's either very unlucky or a cheat.

@@arathgomez615 hahaha you don't know the first thing about juicing. You can take HGH and have it out of your system, in terms of being detectable, in a matter of hours. EPO and oral anabolic steroids can be out of your system in 24-48 hours. That's before you even factor in microdosing. But the gains you make from them in terms of bone density, muscle mass and endurance can last for months. If a tester turns up at the worst time in a cycle, you could just not answer the door and hope he comes back the next day. Which she essentially did 4 times in a year. That's extremely unusual. And the excuses she gave were clearly lies, they were laughable. All this while running the fastest 'clean' time in history. Then after her ban she did nothing for 16 months, she was running about sub-51, then the Olympics comes up and bam, in 6 weeks before she starts hitting 49 something and hits 48 something in the final. You have to be unbelievably naive to believe she's clean.

You have a running start on the 4x400 so the times are usually faster than when they have to accelerate from zero. Usually relay split times are about a second and some above their 400 flat times.

Relay splits are from running start... add about a second to that time to get what she would have run from blocks. Paullino smokes everybody in the world including Levrone & Bol at flat 400m & with ease

She won in 48:27 and Sydney ran her 400m leg in 47:77, the 3rd fastest time for a 400m leg😮 . If she switches to the flat 400, no one will be able to touch her . That’s ridiculous how talented Sydney is ❤
@jomerc
@jomerc 2 ай бұрын
Let me teach you about track. The 400 relay means anyone else than the first leg gets a running start which means you are already running before the clock starts for your 400m part. If Sydney could win at the regular 400m she would have raced that race.
