Cheaters!?, it turned out, after Ben Johnston was disqualified every other runner in that race tested positive for drugs at some point in their careers, including Linford Christie ana Carl Lewis, even now there are cheaters in most of the top races, and we British don't have a great record!, Greatest athlete in my lifetime Marita Koch in an era when almost all of the top runners were druggies, especially from USSR. Eastern Europe AND USA, remember Flo Jo!

This was when she should have been at her peak, 27-28yrs old and not make the final running only 53/54s, but 5yrs later she's bulked up and running sub-48s and 1:53 for 800m? Dodgy or what...?

Can you say that straight to her face? Avoid expressing opinions about people and things you don't know. Marita is the best person I ve ever met in my life and we had many conversations about that issue. She is humble (you are not) super champion (you are not) kind (you are not) she has nothing to prove (you have) and she keeps a good word for anyone (you don't) Apart from all the bla bla bla about drugs (that as an athlete makes me extremely suspicious that you wouldn't hesitate even one second to take if you would have the chance that is why this is the only thing that you can see to that wonderful lady) Marita is a real and genuine champion by all means and in a aspects and not a simple running machine as you insist to see things in your narrow thinking. And one last point. The question of sryle. Marita s style is superb in everything. From running to moving and from smiling to talking and giving the best of herself in everything. Irena was not. And your unkind comment shows also lack of style. When you don't have a clear knowledge about something avoid expressing opinions. They are void and null.

Nowadays if a nation wishes to cheat they simply stick a man in the race, crying "Don't make her take drugs!!!! If she wishes to race with male level testosterone and internal testes it is her human right!!!' Speaking generally as I know not the poster's views. most of you chaps / ladies arguing about 'cheating' are as two faced as it's possible to become being silent on the 'ladies with balls' debate.
