It's a shame the 4x800m & 4x1500m Relays aren't really run much @Senior Level anymore cos GB with its impressive depth could take a good run at both WRs; Keely (1.54.61), Jemma (1.55.61 & 3.58.65), Georgia (1.56.28 & 3.52.61), Laura (1.56.73 & 3.53.37), Alex (1.57.66), Phoebe (1.57.86), Katie (1.58.00 & 3.56.72), Revee (1.59.69 & 3.58.08) & Melissa (3.58.01). Great to see the likes of Renelle Lamote (1.57.06), Audrey Werro (1.57.76), Ciara Mageean (1.58.51 & 3.55.87) & Sarah Healy (2.00.86 & 3.57.46) also running well! Be interesting to track the performance of quarter-miler Alica Schmidt (52.07 PB) who decided to move up to the 800m in '25 after running a 1.24.88 600m PB (#18 outdoor all-time) post OLY.

Would like to see other relays, also. The medley relays would be a great add - sprint and distance medley relays.

@@scottlaplantelaplante990 100% agree! WA clearly wants to keep its new 3-day '26 Ultimate Championships a fast-moving spectacle, hence only 2 Relays (Mixed 4x1 & Mixed 4x4). Was really hoping they'd switch it up & go with a Mixed SMR (2-2-4-8) & Mixed DMR (1200-400-800-1600) to finally give some of the best mid-distance athletes a chance to run a relay at a Global Champs, but wasn't to be unfortunately :(
