As an Aussie girl who grew up competing in javelin for over 8 years, this truly gave me goosebumps. Seeing Kelsey and Mackenzie achieving this level in the sport makes me so proud!! People have no idea how much determination and effort it takes to compete in this sport. Extremely underrated as an individual athletics event that only true powerhouses make it to this level. All the women did an amazing job and seeing Japan and America come through like that is what makes the sport so exciting! You never know what can happen and I’m so so so happy to see the amazing sportsmanship between the ladies. YEAH THE GIRLS!!! 🎉❤

Felt bad for McKenzie Little, she threw her personal best, was in medal contention throughout the game until last few throws and suddenly she slides down to no. 5 position. Still after all that to come out having a grin on your face is remarkable and shows how high spirited person you are in life, although she must be absolutely devastated inside deep down. She has certainly come a long way from heart break in Oregon 2022 to Silver in Commonwealth 2022 to Bronze in Budapest 2023. It clearly states that consistent hard work does pay off.

Bad commentary when he said Mackenzie Little "in her first major final." Ummmm... she made the Olympic final a year before this..

This is an event where ranking is truly meaningless. Just the slightest little bit of something in the approach or release being off and you’re throwing five meters off your potential- or more. I’ve seen some very surprising winners- but that’s what makes it a spectacular event!

I met her and didnt know it was her. If anything i felt tension but her husband clearly didnt like me so you get that i guess. Maybe hes a bit insecure cause he only does 90 push-ups every day while she wins world titles. I guess that's intimidating for any man!
