I remember that night’s coverage. They did three events at once during that period of time with the men’s 3000M Steeplechase starting, the Women’s Pole Vault ending and this event. The race started just as Stefanidi won the Gold. And after the race, the Men’s Javelin was nearing it’s climax.

I'm surprised that the jav throwers aren't big dudes like the other throw events. You'd think some big ass 300 lb. dude could really toss one of them javelins.
@eidur12343 жыл бұрын
The main reason why most shot put, discus and hammer throwers are so big is because they can create a huge amount of momentum by spinning themselves. If javelin was thrown within a circle like the other throws they would most likely be big as well.
@rodster8113 жыл бұрын
Being "big" isn't really a factor when it comes to throwing a javelin

@Swapnil bro the track was not up to date their was some icing in the middle of run way to smoothen it neeraj threw from left that's why he was able to hit 87 germans depend on block of leg to threw with ice on track their leg was slipping neeraj threw with his arm speed.

@Swapnil swapnil see insta account of vetter see his story you will get to know I also know these europeamset record in Europe where there is dry air so javeline goes far away and in humid conditions like Tokyo 87 is equal to 90-91
