Lord I know you have a purpose for me. Even though at times I do not understand. I have complete trust in you Heavenly Father. Being a single mom with two children with special needs is overwhelming at times. Every month is a struggle to get by. But as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I keep faith. Faith is all I have left. I WILL NEVER STOP TRUSTING THE LORD. God give me strength. 💕

My only Christian advice to any other Christian that is suffering or in pain when they don’t feel like they are deserving of it or that they’re aren’t strong enough to carry it is: take heart and hold on. It’s easy to say to someone that is suffering or in pain: don’t worry, God will eventually redeem, heal and restore what you have suffered or lost. But personally speaking: that doesn’t make me feel any better. Not only do I not want to hear that, but my heart literally doesn’t have the capacity to hear it. I can’t even digest that advice.

This is such a realistic message. I needed this today. I am in the waiting and it is relentless, it is hard, and I am waiting messy. When you mentioned that the fruit is patience I had a revelation that I AM waiting and that is from God, not me, and that really encouraged me. I agree about how I talk about God and about myself. And yes, it does not mean not being real or truthful about my emotions. God IS a lovingy Father, nothing happens to harm and hurt you. When I give Him time, I wìll see how He worked it out for my good. He always does and He always will. Or otherwise, I have not yet looked closely enough, or, I haven't yet asked Him to show me how He's working it out for my favor and good .

Do you think He’s a grumpy God?🙌🏾 I love the emphasis on knowing HIS character. Many of us have been conditioned to think God is just waiting for us to make a mistake so he can retaliate… when I truly understood He is a good, loving God who WANTS the best for me.. my perspective on life as a whole changed. It allows me to learn in those tough waiting seasons, opposed to just thinking this is my payback for xyz, God is just getting me back.
