@BladeRunner-td8be5 жыл бұрын
I just love watching the Duchess of Doom play this game. Every aspect of her game is focused, deliberate, and supremely accurate. One thing that she does has always baffled me. And there are many great players like her that do the same thing. At the back of her stroke she pauses approximately one second before moving forward through her stroke. Of course we all pause before moving through our strokes regardless of how fast we transition from the back swing to the front swing but forcing it to stay in mid air uses extra muscles in the arm. My thinking is that this unnatural stopping of the cue leaves the door open for an increase of inaccurate movement on the follow through. This stroke increases the variables because it uses more muscles thereby making it more difficult to control. Personally I'm not a world champion at any pocket billiard game like Allison is. She is a master of this stroke and game. But I wonder (and this is difficult to imagine) if she would have been a better player if she didn't use this style of stroking the cue ball.

When the score was 6-0 and Cathy broke and made the 1 ball in the side, why did Allison come to the table for the 2 ball????

@@dylanbenson9463 I forgot about the 3 point rule. Every ball that goes in on the break is a point and each ball that goes past the 2nd diamond at the head of the table is a point. You must have 3 points on the break.

Did I miss something on the first break she made a ball the in ball in the side why did Allison shit for can anyone help me with that plz
@jasonmiller97385 жыл бұрын
There's a rule that states at least 3 balls have to either go in a pocket or pass the head string. In that break Metzinger made one ball and another went past the head string which is only 2. The next shot then passes to the other player who can either accept it or pass it back. If she accepts it, she's not allowed a "push-out", if she passes it back to the breaker, The breaker IS allowed a "push-out"
