I get where you're coming from and how we tend to oversimplify the comparison, however, The taxonomic classification of shrimp is: Phylum: Arthropoda Subphylum: Crustacea Class: Malacostraca Subclass: Eumalacostraca Superorder: Eucarida Order: Decapoda Suborder: Natantia@mishalewilson2058 Under the Kingdom Animalia, cockroaches belong to the Phylum Arthropoda, Class Insecta, and Order Blattodea I suppose the only thing they truly have in common is that they are part of the broad classification of arthropods. Somehow I don't believe in the classification of mammals that humans are whales, chimpanzees or mice.

It is nice that we have advance technology although there is also always a cursed side of it. I really hope we are NOT over farming, this video is showing a massive harvest that is probably done EVERYDAY by many different ships... though I really hope not. I cannot help but wonder if this way of farming really sustainable for the long run? How long do human have until when there will be no more shrimps, fishes, or an foods left to eat in the future? Not only these animals have to deal with mass farming, their species have to survive all the toxic chemicals and plastics we human continuously dump into the ocean that causes the rise of acidity and carbon dioxide in the water, we also reduced their foods sources as we continuously destroying corals and living environment in every corner in the world. I can only hope all these are done in a very controlled manner that is respectful and grateful to mother nature; it is the only way we can survive to the end as a human species on earth.

This is a corporate sponsored video. These operations are what's required to keep the world fed. Most American companies are regulated. Others are not. This looks to be from South America. At least they do use all of the parts. But we as a world society need to curb our consumption. We also need to eat more vegetables and grow our own small gardens. If shrimp our not caught and processed like this the cost would skyrocket. Hell i know way more people that don't eat vegetables than do. Shrimp are very tasty and i only eat about a pound a year. I grow my own vegetables as the season allows. Its helps My bottom line and they taste better. We all need to know that things like this could come to an end. Conservative measures need to take place or we all may pay a heavy price.
