@@eyeball226 I had a news letter from strictly limited a couple of days back and it's not included. So unfortunately, I am right. Not only is it not included but they're adding Monster lair and Wonder Boy 3 to their physical editions as well as the game gear wonderboy. The only saving grace is that a digital only anniversary edition is coming some time later. I'm just buying digital. Not waiting on Strictly limited's release.

I don't know, it is kind of frustrating seeing collections so close, but still neglecting a few components. Like where is wonder boy III: Monster Lair, where are the arcade versions of the first two, or the game gear version or pc enginge version. I know it might not be important for most, but they are historical parts of the wonder boy series that are as valuable to preserve as these titles.

I'll try to make this clear: The Wonder Boy and Wonder Boy in Monster Land versions on this compilation are the 8-bits (Master System) ones, not the original Arcades. The original arcade of WB in Monster Land is available on the eShop, part of the discontinued SEGA AGES series. Would been nice to add too WB in Monster World 8-Bits version to make company to it's original 16-bits version. Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair, the third arcade game, is missing here, but its 16-bits version is available on the Sega Genesis/MD Classics Collection. For some reason on the PS4/Xbox One versions only. Which it could explain why WB in Monster World wasn't available on Switch until Now. I will never understand what are the issues with WB III: Monster Lair, aniway its Arcade version is available on the Astro City Mini. Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap is missing here too 'cause the Remake i guess.

It's weird that this collection is only the console ports. It does not include the arcade versions of Wonder Boy and Wonder Boy in Monster Land. It could have also included the Sega Master System version of Wonder Boy in Monster World.

Hmm, wir haben uns das Spiel leider über den ESHOP gekauft. Somit keine Chance auf eine Rückerstattung. Das Spiel Wonderboy hat einen KO-Fehler. Im originalen Spiel konnte man schneller laufen, indem man lange auf dem Attack Button blieb und dabei den Joystick in Laufrichtung hielt. Hier geht das nicht!!! Man kann zwar die Steuerung individuell belegen, jedoch kann man den Run Button nicht identisch dem Attack Button belegen. Wenn man zB auf Run den Button B legt und dann auf den Attack Button auf B auswählt, wird der B Button bei Run entfernt. Es ist aber zum effektiven Spielerfolg maßgeblich, dass diese beiden Funktionen auf einen Button liegen. Leider antwortet Nindento nicht auf Anfragen. Zumindest haben wir keine erhalten. Echt Schade, 30€ umsonst ausgegeben.

The standard version has the arcade games and if you pre order from Strictly limited, you get the master system versions as a bonus. I wouldn't worry about all that, though. It takes strictly limited literal years to ship anything, so it's like those bonus versions never existed in the first place. They still haven't shipped their limited edition of Asha in Monster world and it's been up for pre order since 2020, lmao.

Only downside to this collection is there's none of the home computer ports of Wonder Boy or Monster Land on it, they should be a lot easier to aquire now Microsoft owns the rights to them.

I'm kinda sad about this collection... The package is not closer to the PS2's SEGA AGES 2500: Wonder Boy Complete Collection, who included all the classic WB games of all the Sega's Arcade and Console systems, excluding the official english translations of Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Monster World IV, who was released after the Complete Collection. I don't understand the limitation of game choices in this collection... or, maybe, I can undestand...
