Wonder Girls sacrificed their high peak in Korea to promote in US and didn't get what they expected. I remember feeling so sad about them, leaving SNSD without their strongest competitor at that time. Turns out Kpop should stay as Kpop. It might shine internationally but should keep the basic 'Kpop' music in since international fans love kpop as the way it is.

@Serpil Orhan Idriz nope in 07/08 it was wonder girls they where more dominatant then SNSD at the time, irony and tell me out sold and outperformed Into the new world and Girls generation by a mile, back then it was called WonSoKa standing for Wonder Girls, SNSD and Kara, with wonder girls being the biggest selling girl group there numbers where on par with Boy groups, they where considered Big Bangs biggest rival not even Super junior, SS501 or TVXQ could compete with Big Bang and Wonder Girls at that time and they where the next biggest selling boy groups, sad to see that JYP let that go for american fame and fortune. But what came after this american adventure was the biggest selling Girl Band in kpop history. Litterally a band concept for a dance orientated group is probably something we will never see again. After 2009 was when 2ne1 T-Ara and sistar took the competition into there own hands and competed with snsd for top spot

Commented twice but idc , when I first this song I fell in love but didn’t know their name at the time so after years when I found it I was shook to know they were a Korean group. These days people only know BTS and Blackpink. But Wonder Girls, SNSD, 2NE1, 4minute, Big Bang, Shihwa

They also act like rapping is new. Old school could rap and had real vocalist. SiStar, Brown eyed girls, Kara! and just for bonus of talent *SOLJI* from EXID can sing her tail off

@@cherryvip9079 no that collab was forced coz they plagiarized flo-rida's song right around and fans noticed it. In order not to get sued they "collabed" with flo-rida. Kindly read all the articles about it. It was quite a controversy back then 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 And no its not the first collab. As far as i remem as a 16 yrs kpop listener, the first was either jyj with kanye or wg -------------- This is not the first time that G-Dragon has been accused of plagiarism. In 2009, there were claims that G-Dragon's song "Heartbreaker," was plagiarized from Flo Rida's "Right Round." EMI who has the rights to the song "Right Round," announced that they saw no similarities between the two songs. However, Sony Korea prevented G-Dragon from further promoting the song without paying reparations. They also sent a letter of warning about plagiarism, although not a legal action. www.google.com/amp/s/www.kpopstarz.com/amp/articles/285576/20170701/g-dragon-plagiarism-controversy-kpop.htm --------------------- Warner Korea, which is the publishing company to ‘Right Round’ in Korea, came out to say on 18th August, “The song ‘Heartbreaker’ which was revealed in full today has been confirmed to have plagiarised ‘Right Round’ by the composer. And the composer of ‘Right Round’ in America is in the dilemma of what to do and how to deal this case.”
