Sebastian Joseph please someone explain to me why did he involve in this movie if he doesn't want to be part of it?
@sebastianjoseph67287 жыл бұрын
He's an actor. Always keep in mind that actors dont really care much about the whole superhero genre like us nerds do. To them, its just another film aka another paycheck. Hence, the reason why actors read a comic before the movie and all.

Chris Pine is obviously not into it at all, and Gal and Patty are both extremely happy and excited; but I think the reasons are very clear: For Gal Gadot: She has made a few low key or flop movies, and was a minor character in Fast and the Furious franchise. Wonder Woman is her first movie ever as the main role, this movie is making her a global star and if it goes well, it will turn her into an icon and a part of cinema history forever. Big deal. For Patty Jenkins: As a director, this is just her second movie ever (The first one was 14 years ago). It's the first time she (Or any other woman by the way) has worked in a big blockbuster movie with such a huge budget. This movie will make her career. Big deal. For Chris Pine: This is just another one on the list, he has been in over 25 movies so far, being the main character on many of them. For WW he's a supporting character, and it won't make him any bigger than he already was before it. No big deal. Gal and Patty are living the dreams of their lives. Pine is just working, it's another day at the office, and his attitude reveals not his happiest day.

Chris is in a lead role in a history making movie (movies have more than one lead)...According to all the youtube critics..there is sooooooo much weight on this movie on many fronts....He is marketed all over the world right next to Gal....and he was quite excited in China...and I've watched many interviews with him from his other movies and he acts basically the same way in all of them...Even the Star Trek interviews ,and those movies are his biggest ~
@Magenta613647 жыл бұрын
alexpc65 Or it might just be that it isn't his "moment", and he is generous enough to minimize himself to let Gal be the " star".

@Deathlygunn7 жыл бұрын
Leslie Knope To be fair to the original comment I think Warner Brothers, DC, and maybe even Snyder himself have said he'll only be acting as a producer on JL2 (though obviously depending on how the film is received, that could yet change) so technically the door is open for a talented director such as Patty to step in and take over the Justice League.
@shauryasingh97257 жыл бұрын
Deathlygunn yeah I get that. All I'm saying is we don't know if the Wonder Woman movie itself is good or not. I'll make my opinion of Jenkins's for JL2 when I see her own first big movie.

Why is everyone getting on Chris Pine's ass? That's exactly how I would act to a fake enthusiasm man asking dumb questions. "So I know a magical lasso of truth doesn't actually exist, but what were you really using during those scenes?" Hm, I don't know, probably a fucking bowl of salad. What do you think she was holding, dude? What other thing would you think she would be holding in a scene featuring a glowing rope other than just a regular rope that they enhance later?
@loumatt47637 жыл бұрын
Hahaha!
@Dardariel2147 жыл бұрын
Chewbokkiee Have you seen this guy interviews? he's legitimately a huge nerd about pretty much every franchise. He's just a fan getting to interview people making the characters he loves come to life. Most of his questions are un ordinary but that's why people like him. He's not a normal interviewer and his questions are always pretty good
@chewbokkiee95077 жыл бұрын
Okay fine, maybe he's just like that, even if it's a little bit much in my opinion. But I think you misunderstand: I'm not at all complaining that his questions need to be ordinary and simple, that would be a stupid fucking complaint. I'm saying some of his questions are dumb and have no point in being asked. Honestly, besides a regular rope or just nothing, what else could Gal Gadot possibly be holding for reference for a glowing rope? Does this Kevin guy expect her to reveal that she was holding a minigun while hula hooping with a cake balanced on her head? Just because an object is now glowing, it doesn't mean there's a fundamental change in it's atomic structure to make it look like a horse's head or some shit.

Male actor won't get support from getting a role like this...it's lucky to get a love interest role if you are female, but if you are male lead actor, "Your can do better than this." is what people are mostly thinking. I think he's going to be great in the movie, but it may come to him that people around him aren't supportive after he got this role, people might say stuff like "so you are going to be ww's boyfriend?" even comic book fans are saying things like, "He could have made a great Hal Jordon.", people are only talking about "What if" and "Why", no one seems to care or appreciate his work for this role. He might started to think about his career, like, "Am I going downhill form here?" "I can't even get a main/title role in a fuxking superhero movie." All those negativities are toxic. I hope this is not the case...

Racer19 Agreed. I love Kevin's enthusiasm and, to his credit, his questions are smarter than what you typically see in junket interviews. His subjects seem to appreciate his questions as well since they seem more engaged. That said, he should either rotate questions or think of another way to approach them. It could become a crutch for him which would be a shame.

Jesus Christ if it ain't broke don't break it... It is merely a sure-fire to get things started but keep in mind every movie is different, so it will be a slightly different question each time. Very well in fact, so why change it?
