Tbh when I first started, I first learned to make a hat. Specifically a hat that is going vertical first and then you close. I did this because to me, it was so hard to do a magic circle, so unless you already figured it out ( since it’s been 10 months) I honestly think that’s the best way, but I hope you figured it out!

This is so adorable! I really want to try it as my first plush project. Question though, when getting to the decreasing what does that mean? Does that mean for example 3 SC and then skip a stitch?

nope, a decrease is combining 2 stitches into one so you will insert your hook into the first stitch, pull up a loop then insert it into the second stitch & pull up a loop, then pull a loop through both stitches. I recommend watching some tutorials if you need more help!

I have been crocheting for years and i cannot follow this at all. After the 6 sc into the ch 2 you say to inc 6x. What do you mean? Do you mean you are putting 2sc into each st? Hi! I really love this frog tutorial, but I was wondering if it would be able to crochet a frog double the size? Should I just double up all the stitches or do you recommend doing something else? I'm new to crocheting plushies but I'm sure that I'd be able to pull something like this off!

Hi! I recommend using bigger yarn, like a size 7, doubling the stitches won’t work as it will mess up the shape of the plush

honestly it all depends on your tension, for me a 7mm hook works best for super bulky yarn because I have tight tension, but you might need a smaller hook if your tension is more loose (you can tell if there are visible holes in your work)
