This is what happens when you don’t wear a seatbelt, in Australia it’s compulsory to wear them and I’m sick of hearing from people in other countries say it’s their right not to wear one if you don’t want to, tell that to the babies and children that don’t understand that wearing a seatbelt could save their lives. Parents that don’t make their children wear them risk killing them.

Who needs caffeine when you have vintage Volkswagens coming at you the wrong way? I've often heard that the reason the drunk driver seems to sustain fewer injuries in these accidents.....is that because they're either in a blackout state......or less alert of their surroundings......their body is more relaxed at the moment of impact. The sober driver, if they see it coming......is more likely to tense up, etc.

She not only survived each fall, she has only actually been injured once (the most recent..... She caught herself at the bottom of the stairs with her left hand/wrist and her wrist shattered). I have witnessed two of these falls. Had she been sober, the first one probably would've snapped her neck. So, yes, I assume the body is more pliable while intoxicated.
@danosverige5 жыл бұрын
@@195511SM - Many times, the driver wrenches the wheel at the last second before the crash, often putting the passenger side into it rather than his side. It's instinctive, not malicious, but it can seriously lesson their impact! They also have less forward motion to travel due to the steering wheel stopping them, (pre-airbag days) while the passenger has nothing before the windscreen. I've mentioned it elsewhere here, but people without a seat belt in a 30-40mph crash (sudden stop IE - wall/tree etc) continue forwards with the force of a charging elephant, destroying themselves and anyone in their path!

Even if the driver of the car was affected by drugs he still did nothing to cause the accident. What they all did wrong was not wear their sear belts or restrain the child though I doubt that would have saved them all. The driver if the SUV was 100% at fault for the accident but not 100% responsible for their deaths as the wearing of the seat belts could have saved them and if the car driver had been 100% fit to drive he MAY have become aware of the other car. I think justice was served but sis years seems a little light for four deaths.
@lovelyjanuary3 жыл бұрын
Nope that’s not exactly how drunk driving and DUI with criminally negligent homicide/manslaughter cases work.... there’s no legitimate reasonable way to say that their not wearing seatbelts was enough of an overly intervening event that surpasses the other drivers negligence (aka- that it would have made a definite significant probable difference whether or not that they survived, also the burden isn’t on the victim that they didn’t do enough personally to legitimately be as much as theoretical possible to somehow save their own lives from the person who is acting in a way that would kill them and is responsible for acting that way of their own volition.)

short question .. why should it be illegal (and it is almost all over the world) to drive without seatbelt? Everyone knows, that it's more safe to have the seatbelt on, but that is not my question - I just ask why we need a law and how is this law helping the society - who actually suffers from the fact when someone is not wearing the seatbelt - there is no victim (except the one who's not wearing the seatbelt). If idiots wanna omit the seatbelt - go ahead. It's their life. Why should we bother? I say, that everyone should wear a seatbelt - but I also say, that there should be no law about it. We should STOP outlawing victim-less "crimes"
@Pipamonium5 жыл бұрын
@@canarybiker1262 because they are a danger to anyone else in the car. If Billy Joe Bob in the backseat isn't wearing their belt and you crash, they become a projectile that could kill you. Even if you are doing everything right yourself. You could crash, fly through your window, and hit/kill someone else outside the car. Is that going to happen? Not very likely. But there is the possibility. Anything loose in your car could be a projectile. My Grandma told a cautionary story about a friend of hers that died because of a kleenex box they kept up in the back window of their car. The crash she was in wasn't much of a big deal, but the fates lined up and the box went flying and managed to strike her just right with the corner that she died from the injury. Now imagine a grown body (or a child's body) flailing about like a ragdoll striking against everything inside the car.

@@Pipamonium yet, it's not illegal to put a kleenex box in the back window of a car. One such genius only got as far as the street, out in front of the bike showroom, when he hit the asphalt. We went out and found he had wiped down both tires, including the treads, with Armor-All. As for the "novelty" Nazi biker helmets, we also had a saying; a $10.00 helmet for a $10.00 head. Looks like the "biker" in this video already had an overdose of "stupid" before he even left the driveway. Considering his "stylish" helmet and "shiny tires" were what killed him, he probably did his wife and kids a big fat favor.

NOPE. That is in fact the EXACT opposite of the law AND even morally legally speaking because those parents and the child don’t have a responsibility to not die to the best extent of their possibilities could include when a seriously egregiously drunk driver illegally and absolutely criminally negligently operating a 1000+ pound solid mass of steel immediately and directly at them has no ability to stop or not intentionally kill them (intent is already included in drunk driving charges because you made the decision to drink in the first place without 100% being able to prevent yourself from operating that vehicle under the influence later at a violently fatal incapacitated state). So yea...... sorry to tell you but you’re EXACTLY WRONG in those types of cases sorry...... 🤷🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️😬🤓 but it’s good information to know now for the future I guess to be better and accurately informed if God forbid you ever need to be for whatever reason later in life or in informing others to the best of their benefit as well so we can all be safer and more accurately and intelligently informed on these types of complex and life-long consequential situations, right???? 🤷🏻♀️🙏🏼💕💕

I think its half-half in whose fault, the driver was drunk and should have been driving to begin with and the other driver was on drugs and never put the seatbelt on the child, maybe the seatbelt wouldn't change the outcome but the child wouldn't have been thrown through the window and later discovered by herself on the ground, and since the driver of the family was on drugs he didn't brake which would have made a smaller impact then what happened.

Was I the only one annoyed that they tried to get us to believe that the wife tampered with the motorcyclist's bike, and then it turned out that he did it to himself? Why even implicate her in the first place?

The police have to look at every possibility. The marriage was apparently stormy and on the rocks. That's been the motive in more than one sneaky murder of a spouse! Until they can rule her out ... probably when they found the 'rubber polish spray' he polished his tyres with... she's a "possible motive.

I preach stay home at night president biden lost his first wife at night accident. After tenpm you have tired and drunk drivers. Also repo men don't tie cars to their trucks and one find driverless cars. I have a cousin who has wife from middle east. I told her you may be 25 but you are new driver and saudi arabia is flat compared to pa roads and no rain and snow. Then we have more cars then there
