@tommeakin17323 жыл бұрын
I think I might kind of know what you mean - but for me it's that weird kind of "happy sadness" that you get when you remember a happy memory of someone who's no longer with you. It's weird that I feel that for people that mean nothing to me as individuals; but it's like they symbolise something that means something to me. It actually makes me small with a lump in my throat when I see them laughing and playing around. Tbf, part of that is probably because we've brainwashed ourselves into imagining Victorians as being cold-faced, emotionless people - and it's great to see the real humanity in them

That is absolutely normal for every age or civilization that has been on this planet. For example, in this case, what was amazing, novel and very advanced for 1900-1920 is a joke to us, but they thought it was incredible and they lived it as if it were the latest of the latest, because it is the time that He had to live and obviously, not everyone can live to be 80 or 90 years old, let alone 100 years, after this period of time, healthy or at least with a clear mind and experience even more incredible progress. @@SStupendous Sure I’ll make it more broad and more likely for you. 1. He was very much likely a man because whoever this killer was was able to overpower/ kill 5 women and leave no trace of injury themselves. 2. A man in his physical prime to be able apprehend and kill 5 women “ and I’ll make this broader for you” and be able to pull it off so deceitful and controlled, would most likely be from ages 18-60 and that’s really pushing it because I doubt there were hardly anybody who had the dissection knowledge and be even 20 or below and most people back then didn’t often live to 60 let alone be able to move so agile. So therefore in the most realistic circumstances… It was a male proficient with anatomical knowledge and to at least be decently smart enough to never get caught or even seen. As well as most likely being the age between 20-50. I’ve broaden the spectrum and narrowed my details. I just love how in those days you could walk on any road without having to worry about any cars, and has your couldn’t overspeed with a horse and cart there was far less chance of accidents. Also in them days everything was lovingly made and therefore much more authentic, I’d much rather settle for a tailor made pair of boots than today’s Nike or Adidas trainers.

Interestingly enough, there were speed limits for horses! Of course it depended on the area but I’ve read that for cities it was most often 8-12 mph 😊

Many people were killed either trampled by horses or run over by the wheels, it was a big problem

Anyone knows if this is free to use? I'm doing a trailer for a class project and I would really love to use these clips, I can give credits!

At the height of the Bell Epoque period. Women wearing fancy dresses , hats and carrying umbrellas. So classy.
