Most of us have experienced rejection in some form or fashion. So have I. In this video, I get really raw and share how God helped me to overcome feelings of rejection in my life and 5 tips that I hope can help you.

In 2014 I was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis. I was told to hurry to have children because I’d need a hysterectomy within 2 years. I was devastated but ended up getting pregnant 2 years later. 🙌🏽then again when my daughter was 6 months(not trying that time lol) after giving birth to my second daughter, my pain came back with a vengeance! I was out of work for months, could barely walk… reallllllly going through it. For those who don’t know, there’s no cure for endometriosis so I went to schedule surgery to have some of it cut/burn which brings relief. My surgery was scheduled for 9/16/2019 and I couldn’t wait because I knew it would bring relief. I went for my pre op on 9/9/2019 and was told that due to how severe my pain and endo was that the surgery likely wouldn’t help And That due to alll of the scar tissue without a doubt I would need a colostomy bag😢. With that news I was ready to end my life! I went home to write out my goodbyes but something told me to pray. I prayed and said “God you created the Heavens and the Earth, I need you to work a miracle in my life! When I go in on Monday I don’t want them to find ANY ENDOMETRIOSIS! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.” I went in for surgery that Monday and the doctors couldn’t find ANY endometriosis! I celebrated 3 years healed this year. There is NOTHINGGGGGGGGG impossible with the Most High Holy Loving & TRUE Father in Heaven!! Trust Him 🙌🏽

I definitely struggle with it as well at times, especially in my friend groups. It's like there's a part of me that wants to be liked so bad by everyone, I generally love people and so when I don't get the same energy it really hurts. I often wonder if it has something to do with my earthly dad rejecting me. I realize there's actually still so much I need to deal with. But only God fills those voids and that I know full well. Like there are some girls I would really love to have deeper connections with, but then one can also see they don't reciprocate or even seem interested the way I am. And it has been really painful because I have to go about this in a forgiving manner, I feel like God has been exposing this "victim mentality" or the "people pleaser" in me. And so I am trusting in God, in time He will clear up all my wounds. I can just encourage you ladies, let us look to the Lord when we feel hurt by others. There's a scripture that says "The fear of men will prove to be a snare but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe." Prov 29:25 Let us put our trust in the Lord, the healer of all wounds. The One who can restore our brokenness and make us whole again, GOD ALMIGHTY! ABBA FATHER! JEHOVAH! JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH! 🙏

I typically don't comment before I watch a video, but just wanted to share on here how faithful God is. Earlier today He was speaking to me about someone he wants me to keep in my prayers. He has been telling me this on and off for the past four years or so. I became very upset today and told Him I wanted to keep this person away from my heart and my mind because I could not handle his rejection, so I'd rather pretend he doesn't even exist... The enemy definitely works hard by splitting families apart. But thanks be to God, Glory be to Jesus, we have been adopted and grafted into his Kingdom because of what was done on the cross! I love that you brought this up!! When I first started attending my church (after leaving my first church), I would hide in the bathroom until Our small group meetings would start. I was so afraid of speaking to people and small talk. Fast forward I became the Welcome Team Leader. To be honest, I didn’t feel like a “real” Christian in my first church but when I made a community and friends out of my church family, I finally felt like a true Daughter of Christ! And you even mentioned the enemy trying to bring that back! I found myself early this year feeling that way again - like I had to hide in the bathroom until it was time to go out of anxiety to communicate with the members. Meanwhile I lead the Welcome Team. But I rebuke the Spirit of Rejection in the name of Jesus!

This was much needed - thank you for your obedience! It relates to me on two levels. First about seeking a new place to worship. The other is a coworker who walks around with a "woe is me / victim" mentality. Depending on the day she may respond to a greeting - overall she doesn't. The Lord told me to keep greeting her and being courteous! It's tough, but I'm praying it leads to a dialogue about turning the other cheek and Jesus' Principles! 🙏

Alyssa, how is your relationship with your family these days? Do you still talk to or see your mom and dad? Our stories are so similar (except for smoking 24 blunts in 24 hours lol). My mother isn’t an alcoholic, but she has undiagnosed bipolar disorder, which I was later diagnosed with. And my father wasn’t military, he was married. My mother was horribly abusive and fiercely protected the child rapists in our household. My teens and 20s were a cautionary tale about how not to catch an STD or survive a a pattern of abusive relationships or a pregnancy scare. Trust me when I say there are some things I’ll take to my grave. Thank God for giving us our Redeemer. I love your ministry and am so glad that you are working in your purpose to bless your audience.

I was a part of a church 3 years. I left because something went wrong and the church needs to repent and I felt so rejected, by everyone except a few friends who checked up on me. I made connections, I loved everyone, but when I left in their eyes I was not a disciple any more and apparently I left God. I didn't leave God, I left a church and the church is not God. 😂 I saw those people as family, but they chose not to speak to me. I forgave and moved on, but it took me a while to heal from rejection. Jesus was rejected all the way to the cross. ❤

Believe his word no matter what you feel or think. Something that I had to work with and still am. When I don’t feel God or hear him I learn to trust him. I put worship and I just say thank you. Thank you because you are with me. Thank you because your working all good things you are working out for my good. Also confessing sin. God can speak to you in dreams and through thoughts and most important the Bible. Also, get to know the holly spirit. Which am also working on.
