Hi friends, I hope this video encourages you that no matter where you are at in life: single, dating, married, widowed... that a spouse is not the answer. Your husband will never satisfy you (completely), and he wasn't meant to. I hope this shines some truth to your situation and leads you closer to Christ. He loves you. He'll never leave you nor forsake you. And He was and is the one who was always meant to satisfy your soul.
"Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” - John 4

Sis!! You teaching and it’s right on time. As someone who has been single for years and now dating, this revelation has already been brewing in my spirit. You brought it altogether and wrapped it in a bow. Wow, this is such a good word. There is a book called “Get Lost” and she breaks down the curse a lot. I recommend it for all women who are struggling with the idolatry of a man as a single woman.

This is why it is so important to have God as your all. Human beings will be human beings. We have faults and will fall short. Your all is ALWAYS found in God. He has to be the center. Unfortunately so many get into relationships expecting that person to fully complete them.

What an on time word! Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and sharing this message. I feel like I’ve put up unbiblical expectations in my heart for my future husband to satisfy them when the Lord was always the only One who will ever meet, let alone exceed my expectations. I’ve been subscribed for a minute and it’s absolutely beautiful to see how far the Lord has brought you.

Aw thank you, girl... Yes, he truly is the only one who will fully satisfy us. Our husbands get it right some of the time. But only God can sustain those deep places (and he was the one who was meant to). Our happiness and that of our spouses is truly found in that truth (and it will set us free!!) God bless you, sis! Thanks for being here. ❤️

I’m not even done watching the video yet but my God! This video is so so powerful and liberating! I am guilty of idolizing marriage time after time again and so the Lord has been bringing me out of that! I told Him how I wanted Him to teach me who I am as a woman of God outside of being a married woman. I definitely want to be a homemaker one day Lord willing but over the years of being on KZbin I’ve seen many teachings of how a woman needs to stay in the house until her husband shows up, so in other words, don’t get a job, don’t do anything until the man shows up, it’s like I started to feel like my whole life was supposed to be centered around being married at a certain age and I battle so much with growing older and not have been married yet, I have this strong desire to just pursue God even if it means I give God all of my twenties and I’m still not married yet. I’m not trying to say this out of pride at all but it’s nice to know that I am the one who’s the blessing as the Bible says and I am the one who’s needed, not saying that I don’t need a man, but what I’m saying is that I know my worth isnt always centered around needing a man and keeping a man. The word says I am worth more than rubies and I am valuable and so I should take that seriously and hide myself until the right person comes along.

Question: If we were made for men and not the other way around…what’s the point in having a man if he won’t serve us? Shouldn’t it be a two way street and that a man is beyond his abilities to build? I don’t want a husband if I can’t even emotionally, and mentally connect to him and if he feels as though he’s only good for what he does with his hands? Where’s the bond?
@calmREACTS

You can connect emotionally and mentally but putting your burdens/traumas on a man won’t keep a man cause he can’t fix that or satisfy that it’s not his responsibility

The way I fell out in my bed while doing laundry and taking laps around my room while listening. This is on time!! Just Earlier this week I was spending time with God and I realized that my boyfriend doesn’t satisfy me and for the first time I was okay with that. Then Holy Says “that’s how it’s supposed to be”. I am someone who use to idolize marriage and has actually never been in a committed relationship( only situation-ships) this is my first one and God reveals this to me( I believe this revelation was also Gods way of showing me I’m ready for one ) After I had that revelation I see this video further explaining why. This video has also confirmed my desire to just help with things. I’ve always valued togetherness and making things easier for people in my life through helping them with their loads. I see now that this is a healthy desire from the Lord and I’m so encouraged to keep living this out and for the Lord to continue giving me healthy, kingdom perspective. I thank God for your obedience in sharing.

So what about where God commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church? His love to you should be sacrificial, unconditional, and very satisfying..I do agree that we should not idolize our husbands or marriage but we should definitely have high standards for them to reach as women of God we should expect more from Godly men. Also, God does not want us to be lonely, we need a community whether that’s through family or not.
@WonderfulActs

I totally agree that husbands are called to love us and lay their lives down like Christ loves the church!!! This is more about our heart posture towards men in thinking that they are meant to meet all of our needs
@r.walker7986
@r.walker7986 6 ай бұрын
A lot of women will take the message and turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the facts they are simply involved with or married to a man that they have no business being with and rather than go find a better, more suitable partner, just write off all of the ways the person disappoints them or falls short and tries to get Jesus to fill the voids which might be ok in certain areas but there are just some ways your partner should be satisfying you if they are then right person for you. There are earthly needs that are meant to be satisfied on earth like food, drink, air, sleep, etc and some of them require actual living breathing people. No, a man or a woman cannot fulfil the needs that only God can fill, no more than going to sleep can quench thirst or satiate hunger but they can give you a hug when you need it. It just has to be established that a romantic partner has a purpose and needs they need to work towards fulfilling and there comes a point in somke relationships where you might be running to Jesus more than you should and its an indignation of the situation you are in.

Sis, what you said reminds me of Rachel and Leah. God saw that Leah was not loved and so He blessed her with many children. Rather than rejoicing in the fact that the God of all creation looked upon her and loved her, she focused solely on her husband's affection. For every single child she got, she expected that Jacob would love her more than he loved Rachel, which we know never happened. Leah probably could have experienced so much joy in her life if she would have chosen to serve God with the blessings that He gave her -her children. Perhaps the tension that existed between the sons of Leah and the sons of Rachel (mainly Joseph) could have been lessened if the sons of Leah hadn't been constant witnesses of the contention and competition that existed between Leah and Rachel. Obviously Jacob's favoritism plays a huge part in this story, I'm not denying that. But perhaps Leah's sons would have had at least a slightly different attitude if they saw their mom lead in love, let go of the bitterness she had for not being the chosen one, forgive her sister, and raise her sons in the fear of the Lord.

Love❤ this! I've been noticing this in my own Bible study and my own relationship. The ezer kenegdo thing is REAL & GODLY. That's why it seems women have been given "more wisdom,more intuition ,more organizational skills and just more common sense!" 😅 2 years ago this was driving my hypergamous mind crazy, but it took really finding truth about my role as a woman to accept the other side of the fairytale. Of course men are useful; providers, priests, and doting lovers, but us women got a deep call with being "ezer"/helper. That's why most times it's natural for the woman to be more "spiritual"/spiritual leader (in thr sense of knowing God's will, praying, meditating on the Word, catching if vibes ain't right) too. Hahaha this knowledge literally set me free. Let's do what we were made to do ladies.! Thank you for this video, I have subscribed!🎉❤😊

Alyssa , I wish I could give you a hug right now and boohoo cry on your shoulder!! This isn’t an easy message to put out in the world we live in, I’ve been married for just 4 months and oh my my my- Ive only just realised that came into this ‘finally wanting someone to take care of me because I’m tired of taking care of other people’. I’ve been convicted that while my husband has been called to love me- only God can satisfy that longing for healing I have. Disagreements hurt more because deep down I have thought he’s the one that’s meant to never let me down. I pray God continues to see my heart and hold my hand through this pruning process. It’s absolutely not easy, sending love to all women who can relate to what you’ve shared. May we surrender to God being the King of our hearts, teaching us how to be a godly lover and helpmeet ❤🙏🏾

awww sis!!! sending a big virtual hug your way. I totally understand and can relate. Let God be your shoulder!!! The Lord is such a wonderful husband. But I know it still hurts and can be tough... praying you get the freedom and peace and hope you are longing for. much love, sis! 🤗❤️
