That’s a 50+ year old engine I remember working on those in the 70s when I was an apprentice but you can bet your life that every single spare part for them is still available in Pakistan !

What for?, it's not really necessary on something like this. They tighten till they just get to where the bolt is stretching, then stop. It's a knack you get into.

Why are they allways do theyr work at the ground? Sand and dirt in machinery is not the best. WHY not have a workbench? And wear proper shoes. But, they are very good too get the things done 😀

Thats not a Petter,It's a Dong Feng, made in communist China. You can buy them really cheaply under various names today and they used to complete with enough spares to rebuild the engine when needed. I had the misfortune to be involved with them in the late 1970's . Once it was learned that prison labour was used to make them we stopped dealing with them. Dong Feng of course builds cars for export today.
