The high numbers of Astrids that can be found on this property points to a connection to the Vim factory. This could be where the research team secluded themselves after the bombs fell.

I often interpreted these small houses which appear to be lived in as the places the people of Far Harbor had to abandon due to the Fog in recent years. Some years its nearly non-existant and they were spread around the Island before being forced onto the docks as "harbormen".

I wonder also about the bathtubs too. The idea for catching rainwater is interesting, but not especially practical in the F4 world. First of all, uninstalling and hauling a 400 plus pound bathtub outside would be a real chore! And would need a number of strong people to successfully do! Then I would assume the rainwater would be radioactive for quite a while as well as the water would be quickly become brackish in the tub and would have to be boiled and stored in sterilized containers to be of much long-term use. The fact that tubs are all over the place and often not near homes I think were put in the game just to add a bit more to the look of devastation. And I'm still of the opinion that the gnomes are the calling card of some kind of mad-man serial killer who stages the gnomes after his crimes. Or someone who years later stumbled upon skeletons from when the bombs dropped and set up little sick scenarios. But your gnome ideas are really fanciful and cute!

Not too big on the loot here are they ( not even a single disk fahn?!) ;) but it's such a nice level spot to build a settlement--even has gnomes for some gnomey decorations. Can settlement mods be used on DLC's? Hmm... Hank U for the loverly wee tour, Mr Thomas!
