I’m not shocked honestly. I used to think stories like this were exaggerated until I ran a race in Detroit about a decade ago. We ran over ambassador bridge to Canada. Due to all the runners. When I stopped to take a photo of the sunrise I could barely stand up due to the violent shaking of the bridge. It’s crazy. You can’t notice if you are walking or running.

The band "Sublime", formed in 1988, is worth a listen too as they have a very hip hop/rap style as well & the singer is a white boy. Unfortunately the Singer, Bradley Nowell, died the same year the band released their first album which must have been a bittersweet moment for the other band members & Bradley's family . "Sublime" disbanded after that but I recently read the band is getting back together with Bradley's son Jakob Nowell on the vocals, that's something worth checking out for sure!

I should mention that I’ve been doing the ending commentary a little differently the last few videos. I have to be honest, by the time I get to this point in a video, I’m a bit burnt out on the whole project and just ready to get the video done. 😅 My focus is always on the songs/artists themselves so I hope that anyone who wants to see detailed commentary from the reactors will go visit their videos directly. Most of the reactors have heard at least the chorus of this song, or know it from the sample that Eminem and Busta Rhymes did of the song. This song is also a stadium favorite at Wisconsin University football games when the whole crowd starts jumping around. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqKyYXeMfsd7oNksi=WinOJ-RiSxLX5mOw Enjoy! 💜

I have a song on my list that Derek has done already that is just MANDATORY for me to do. 😅 But I am going to wait a while longer (been almost a year and a half) to make sure I can use different reactors in it. I did that with "The Pot". I told @DerekBrooksEdits the same thing with the Cult of Personality video. I would really love to see his creation of that song. I can't tell you the number of clubs I jumped in, in the 90's. A lot. Not only when it was new, but years after. The man that mentioned the old-school hip-hop was made with a great beat to get people together and just move, is 100% correct. I live in America, in a middle size city, and we had a plethora of under-age clubs. And that is what we did. The bars would lock down the liquor one night a week or we even had one at a laser tag place that shut down to make a "club". Not to mention the roller-skating rinks. There would be lines to get in and once you were, you never saw an adult. They crammed us in and still it was safe because we just wanted to dance. We had no phones, amazing music, and LOVING that we were our own generation, very different than our parents, and that made us the same.
