Your shelter was one of the best examples of long term survival bushcraft that I've ever seen. It looked positively inviting and cozy and in comparison to some of the other contestant's shelters was the hands down winner for the best shelter built award had there been one!

Best shelter on any season of Alone bar none!!! I hope I join the Alone family.

Woniya, you rock!. Did you study the seasons before you and try to make something similar to your favorite shelter, or what went into your preparation ahead of time? The biggest thing I got from you is we agree that shelter should be done as soon as possible, while energy is highest, you have the most daylight hours, it’s not so cold yet, etc. I’m blown away at how much thought and energy went into your shelter, but the final product was awesome. Now I need to go back and watch you build it again to see it all come together. Frozen should be awesome, everyone can learn from their own past mistakes, and in hindsight, what could they do differently second time around. We love many of you guys so it’s so hard to pick a favorite to win, but you’re right at the top. Greg Ovens is such a cool guy and in a good way, “a character”, best wishes, your insight is priceless, thanks

Holy crap you’re so incredibly intelligent! No wonder you did so well out there. Some of the things you spoke of I’ve used before for winter shelters. I haven’t looked to see if you have a school for learning out door living but, you should. All your videos are very informative I take aspects from all I read and hear from survival and bushcraft folks for my personal adventures. Kephart, Canterbury , and now Thibeault.

I have an Online Skills Gathering that covers a lot of bushcraft and related skills that starts tomorrow, actually! I bet you would love it! Do they really disassemble the shelters after you tap? I understand it but it would seem really sad to see it taken down if I had worked so hard on it.
@BuckskinRevolution4 жыл бұрын
They do, but you are right; it would have been very rough to see so I am glad I wasn't there for it. I'm glad they do though, as I would hate to think of that wild place having lasting signs of human occupation
