Very cool potions. I've had the movie on my list to see but after seeing the potions today, it's moving up the list. Great job!

Love your work, I did try to create a couple of the Harry Potter potions you did but here in Australia the selection of products available isnt always the best, have learned some stuff from your videos to recreate them better in the future. These wonka ones look fantastic, especially the lightning bolts. The shimmer and the flicker was visible in the video.

Oops forgot loved the lightning in the bottle that was a genius idea...
@meloneeleddington76647 ай бұрын
Great job I really enjoyed these. I think an idea for the lightning potion would be to use the light up coaster which I think would be a brighter light and stronger flashing for the lightning. I would of liked to gold leaf the sun as well to make it stand out more. I loved the multi color cording that was new and different. Overall they were great fun and an awesome job well done. I would say to the person who said you are too old for this.... Then why are they watching?? There is nothing wrong with having fun and using your imagination don't we all want to be a child at heart and believe in wonderful things like magic. I think this world is way to serious and stressful already having fun makes life worth living. Stay young at heart and do what you love and enjoy let the magic and imagination flow.... ⚡🌞

Well said thank you! 👏 I thought about the light coaster too, which would totally work as well. The light in the book box definitely lit it up better in person than what the camera captured too. 😊

I had a question for you. With all of the HP potions you have made have you considered making a HP potions and spell book? I know they don't really have a potion and spell book in the movies like in Hocus Pocus but a HP spell book would be really cool. What do you think?
@CookingandCraftChick7 ай бұрын
I did make a potion book (at least the cover) a couple years ago but it’s definitely something I may dive back into. 😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5XRfH2Yp9hpl9E

The swirling beaker tube with yellow liquid dropping in it at start and end of video? Where do you get one of those? Google lens says some type of bong but not sure.
@CookingandCraftChick7 ай бұрын
It’s from a chemistry lab, it is called a Glass Graham Condenser

@@CookingandCraftChick u can also use a swirly, twisty or spiral straw in the bottle. Lot cheaper than the specialty beaker. 😊

I was just wondering, how long do the hair gel potions last? Would you recommend hand sanitizer over hair gel for longevity, or are they both fine? Thank you!
@CookingandCraftChick2 ай бұрын
@@rhih1608 they’re both fine, as long as they are in rooms that are not too hot or too sunny. I have potions made of both that are over 5 years old 😊

What do you think is better, distilled water with glycerin or the alcohol? I know it might be availability but what is your opinion for choosing alcohol instead if you could?
@CookingandCraftChick7 ай бұрын
I feel like the alcohol has better swirls when making a color shift potion. Also distilled water and glycerin tends to have some bubbles when you shake it. Both work very well it’s mostly availability. I explain it in great detail in my tips and tricks video if you want to check that out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZPPoXujiK2nZ8U

Hello, I know it's off subject but I don't know how to message you another way. I couldn't find an email. I just found on Roku a new 2024 series of The Spiderwick Chronicles I don't know if you saw the original movie but it is a good fantasy magic type movie. Roku has made it into a series and so far I have only watched the first couple of episodes and I think it would be something you would enjoy. So far I haven't really seen a potion, but there is a tea they make with an apple of a magic tree that grows inside the house and if you put a few drops in the tea and drink it, it makes you invisible. There may be some potions further on, but I thought you might want to check it out. I have been impressed with it so far. It is darker and more grown up from the original movie. Let me know if you check it out and like it. Stay magical ❤

I’ll definitely have to check it out! Thanks 😊
