She once stepped into the building (the world) with uneasiness, but now she steps into it with confidence and pride 😭 Also I’m tearing up at how in the first ep, Junho was outside with Youngwoo, helped her and stepped into the unknown with Youngwoo and in this last episode, Junho met her inside the world/building, giving me a feeling that Youngwoo has now grown and she can do things by herself! And there are people that she can’t wait to see over the other side, the familiar people who will walk the journey with her together 🥹 Youngwoo faces so much hurdles and difficulties in her life but she’s got: The best boss: a mentor, owns his mistakes, forbids snitching at work, appreciates his colleagues’ worth and recognises their hard work Perfect friendships: encouraging, supportive, actually listens, stands up for her when she’s being stepped on Perfect dad: protective, prioritises her over the world Best boyfriend: reliable, caring, and most importantly, knows her limits and boundaries *and* honest, unconditionally(!!!) respects them. And most importantly, it shows us Youngwoo’s extraordinary but wonderful life and how you can grow and improve as a person regardless of how unique you are! People like these are the people we wish we can have more in this world. Looking at them made me reflect as a person and wonder what ways are there that we can be kinder to each other and be better versions of ourselves. (Be a Youngwoo before you ask for a Junho 😆) The writer has done a fantastic job in her script - the dialogues were so meaningful without sounding overbearing, and the director and actors had done such stellar job in showing us Youngwoo’s world. Like Myeongsuk said to Youngwoo, “you’re not me, you’re you.” Life is all about finding your footing in this unsettling world. Thank you for letting us explore Youngwoo’s world and giving us the opportunity to see her world evolves. It has been a heartwarming and healing 8 weeks ❤️ I’m so invested in this drama that it’s sad to move on- i don’t frequently watch dramas, but this one definitely tops the list and is one that I will keep coming back to.

I like how the ending is like a foreshadowing from the first episode but YW in a much better phase of her life. I love the syllogism of the revolving door for YW because for me it symbolizes the challenges she'll face upon entering the work force. At first she really had a hard time using it. Good thing, there's JH who helped her...there's also CSY and JMS who became her trusted colleagues. In the final episode she finally conquered the revolving door just like how she hurdles the challenges in both her professional and personal life...and JH is still with her. 😻 YW's growth is amazing and I'm sooooo proud of her!

The subway scene with the whale swimming in the sky mirrors the first episode when Young Woo goes to work for the first day - if you go back, the sky only has one whale (Young Woo). This scene, it’s filled with other creatures to signify that she is no longer alone and has friends/colleagues she can lean on at Hanbada law firm, which some of you know translated as “one sea” - the one sea that is willing to accept Young Woo for who she is, and that she isn’t alone in that sea anymore. The title of this series says it all: Extraordinary Attorney Woo! From start to finish, we witnessed the marvelous Woo Young-Woo grow. We witnessed her accomplishments, her genius. We loved her sensibility. We cheered her on when she took her first case, and we continued cheering her on during her subsequent cases. We loved her innocence and her view of the world, of people, of her surroundings. We cried at her pain, especially when she confronts her biological mother. We shed tears of joy when Woo Young-Woo fell in love. In spite (or despite?) her disabilities, nothing stopped her from achieving that "sense of fulfillment." And that glorious ending - the revolving door. A major feat for Woo Young-Woo! As she took that small leap into the foyer, that was the perfect definition of victory. She conquered that door!!! I loved it and, yes, I cried over this beautiful accomplishment. Just proud of this extraordinary character! The series could not have been successful without the brilliance of its cast. Park Eun-Bin was masterful in her role as Woo Young-Woo. She did justice to her character, never exploiting it. Kang Tae-Oh was wonderful in his role as Lee Jun-Ho, Woo Young-Woo's champion from the start (and, of course, the man she loves). But I have to just give major kudos to Woo Young-Woo's boss, the amazing Kang Ki-Young (Attorney Jung Myung-Seok). Badass boss with a sense of humor! We'd all love to have that one boss in our lifetime who was as supportive and understanding as Jung Myung-Seok. He took a step back and understood that Woo Young-Woo was no ordinary attorney (as he explained to her at the end of the series). He saw beyond her disabilities. He gave her the opportunity to shine. I just loved him. Wonderful series, wonderful story. Nothing else to add but love LOVE LOVE!!!😍❤

I really love this scene. I feel like anyone who has a dream that they really care about understands the feeling of fulfillment. Personally, nothing makes me happier than chasing my dream and the feeling I get when I'm a step closer to it is like nothing else so I was able to REALLY relate with her in this scene.

Another great detail about the show is that dates it started and finished, started on 6.29 and ended on 8.18, whether flipped or straight, the dates are still the same.
