I am back Jubalani my friend,, I lost my computer, it died and took me months to get another one. I am now starting again. I am so glad to see your growth. Very impressed ! I love your work and this is beautiful !

I've been mightily impressed with your dedication to improving at this craft and this one is a prime example of what 'putting the hours in' will do. This shows a professional's attention to detail and the final piece is terrifically well executed. The only thing that worries me is that you've got to be running out of storage space! Cheers Jabulani!

Hi Mark, I totally agree with you. I have subscribed to Jabulani for some time now. I'm posting a video on Thursday which I would not be doing if it wasn't for Jabulani. Huw

I like it just the way it is. I am really liking the background as it really makes the carving POP. Speaking of pop...how about doing Popeye The Sailor. That would make a great carving. Gary

Thanks Gary. I will definitely schedule a Popeye carving!

Hi Jabulani, I liked the silver but then you didn't so you changed to gold. I agree with you the gold is much nicer. Cheers, Huw

Thanks Huw. Don't worry, will use the silver in some upcoming builds.

Hello. I really admire your skill. Would you by any chance, in future videos, tell us what bit you use in every step? Thank you so much. I'm a real beginner.

Are you using acrylic paint or regular paint?

Mdf is suitable for very small details? Like les than 1mm shapes and curves?
@StuffUCanMake4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. MDF can be tricky for very small details because it is a softer material. You can however smear it first with liberal amounts of CA glue and let it soak in. This will help stabilise the piece and make it easier to carve.

May I ask Your advice also if You know. Would pain tree solid wood sheet but glued together(zigzag glue lines) by several peaces would be good for carving without deffects(would silicone pour catch zigzag glue lines?)? Or it should be one peace material? I just need 30x30x3-6cm. Carving sheets for molds and are confused a bit.
@StuffUCanMake4 жыл бұрын
@@playgrounddolls7766 I think sheets glued together can work. i have done a video on this channel of me carving a dragon's head bust. The material was about 4 or 5 sheets of glued MDF sheets. But I advise that you first do a test run.
