You're a great teacher, I can see why you started the school. You're delivery of information is excellent. I really appreciate you're sense of humor as well.

Very interesting instructional video. I hadn't realized that this was something I needed to learn until I watched this - now, I need to practice it. Thank you!

Absolutely delightful, and informative. I love the way you teach, your friends, Mr. and Mrs. goose, and the sweet banjo music at the end. What a wonderful way to start my day… The sound of a sharp blade dancing through basswood. Makes my heart happy. Thank you Alec. Sure do appreciate you. As Shrek would say… Really, really! ❤

Hello alex .. you're a great teacher ...I've learnt so much from you...jus to mention you should've incorporated this part of the hair carving in the previous video which you've done on the eyes ,nose and mouth carving with the same piece of wood ...that would've been so much better which makes it a series of carvings on jus to get the gist of it ....jus a suggestion I guess ...thanks 😊😊😊👍🏻✌️

I didn’t have enough room for hair on the previous carving!

For me the crucial thing to see is your hand positions used to make each cut. The close up shots show them very well and you are aware when they might not. A single camera set up without someone manning the camera can’’t show everything but 92% aint bad. Thanks AL.

For us carver that do larger scale carving with gouges, your scale with a knife is not helpful. However I do appreciate not using the bark. My present project I am carving is in white oak.
