I would love to live out there, the beach, the trees, all of nature. I like building birdhouses & walking sticks & I would love to make a bunch of little homes for the birdies in the forest! What area are you in? I want to find somewhere like that to move to. I spent my life following what I thought everyone expected of me but now I'm slowly collecting things to camp & travel. Now I just need a way to get my own van or something to move me around.

P.s. i think, you don't know russian, so I translate the text using internet. Hope it doesn't distort meaning. It is incredibly comforting that somewhere on earth there is a person like you Really! And also such a wonderful nature. In our city, full of traffic and bustle, I really miss the silence of the forest, the clean air, the lakes.. When I was little, I also collected pieces of wood. And made toys out of them. Somewhere in my flat is still an owl made of pine bark.. it's wings are moving!) Your channel helps at least mentally return to those forgotten places and calm down. You're just wonderful, and I'm sure you know that. Thank you

.. Fantastic video .. .. Can totally relate to the saving of unique pieces of wood ,, at times , I would gather driftwood from a lakes shoreline because the shadows of the wet areas created an image of something interesting ,,,, only to get home with a pile of dry driftwood and no longer see the vision I had seen before ... funny how Nature wants to give you gifts while IN nature ,, and take only the memories home ..

Thank you for this very calm video! 😊 Often, when we had to have look at the trees (unfortunately there is a big problem with the Scolytinae), I was not told that the trees have eyes, but that the trees know and feel everything and that we have to take care of the forest as best we can. The situation with stuff in the car is a familiar one... 😂 I recently got a bigger van and it feels like the various things for the horses, the garden and the forest are multiplying by themselves. 😅

Doesn't happen much these days, as the deep south is super hot and I live in Scandinavia, but I used to live in Kamloops and built a huge pile of logs for the winter. Honestly, your wood chopping technique is miles above mine. Traveling to the Rockies this summer and hope to use some of your tips. Keep up the good work!

Mom used to put old tin loaf pans with water in and some cedar sprigs on the side (kind of half on) of the heating ducts in the house. Putting on radiators works, putting on the wood stove at the cabin we never tried, but hey, why not. We had a cedar lined closet in my room as a kid and I would sleep on the floor with me face near it, since I was not allowed to leave the door open.

Nicole, every car built since 1/1/2002 has a glow in the dark emergency trunk/hatch release. It’s supposed to be in plain sight but early on some manufacturers hid them behind a panel or carpet. The US federal law technically only requires cars with trunks but many SUVs and hatchbacks have them as well. I’m not sure if this carried over to vehicles sold in Canada, but it’s worth a look. If your vehicle has it it’ll be a green/yellow glow in the dark T handle, pull and the trunk/hatch pops. Hope this helps!

The WD40 is good for a temporary fix. It's filling in the scratches in the plastic, giving it a smoother surface. But it'll evaporate and weather off, leaving a hazy headlight again 😞. According to CNET, the Cerakote Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit ($25) does the best job without a drill. If you have one, the 3M Headlight Restoration System at $13 does the best. The rest of your video was sheer heaven. You, Bambi and the Great Pacific Northwest forest: the perfect trio.

Next shot Nicole in the back of her car picking up a hand axe... not the usual tool for car repair... lol Yes she immediately asks "Why do I have 40 axes in my car." - the answer should be obvious.... The joy she gets out of managing to "open" a door... so wholesome. So relaxing to watch these.
