Looks good for a rookie is an under statement! you must have a lil experience or pap paw gave you some pointers. Here is a tip. on the old mill I have we took the loader arms off(yours does not have them) and made some stands that hook over the ends of 2 bunks so that i could shove boards that need edged or slabs off the other side and continue sawing. This makes a bunk to sort your boards to be edged that you can flip them back on to the mill without picking up and carrying them. Pretty handy for loading logs too as you can set a log on them and roll it gently on to the mill. I will get you some pictures. They also come off by picking them up if ya need to move. They do not get in the way too much for loading either. Carrying both ends of a green board(heavy) is something to avoid or else it makes you old and broken down. Be careful. I have always said if you get any of that dust on you causes a sickness. You will be looking at trees and saying ohhhh. I wonder what is inside there.

When I get the shed built and the mill setup more permanent there is a few things that I'm going to do to it to make it better. One is a log turner. It has one for it but it's been took off it worked off a hand winch. I'm going to put it back one and put a electric winch on it. The only mill iv run has been this one but iv watched a lot of KZbin lately 😆 🤣 😂

Very interesting. I have never seen that LT20 head mounted on what appears to be an LT30 frame? Do you have any info about this mill/ setup? Most of the old LT20’s that I have seen were on the aluminum frame

We have just gotten the mill. It is a 1990 model I have a book on it and the book has this lt20 frame and trailer package in it

No thank goodness. It was a long night we stayed up to keep a eye out on it. All we got was some rain and strong wind got just a little bit of corn down nothing major. Closes tornado to us was 40 miles northwest of us. The bad ones was in far west ky. Thank you Keith for checking in
