The Lt 70 totally changed the production at the sawmill compared to the Lt 40 that we ran prior to this mill. In this video you will see the mill and hear it in real time making 8x8's out of white pine for a log home in upstate PA

Checking the engine oil level with the engine running. Way to get an accurate reading.... smart!

Worked on a mizer mill for 25 plus years nice mill, no doubt. They need to upgrade to 28 inch band wheels and counter weigh them by 15 percent the idelier wheel should weigh 15 percent less them install a 3 inch band 196 inches install two extra drive belts . There hp. Is more than fine. It saws to slow that is all the carriage is fine log turner toe board are fine. Then a person could put out 4500 ft a day .

Thanks! The majority of the time I am alone. My father does logging so rainy days he's in the mill with me

Are you running a wood-mizer drive belt? I find I can't get the torque I want in the blade because the belt slips
@americandream_898 ай бұрын
@@IntoTheWoods1 no I’ve switched to aftermarket. I’m still doing some testing but this belt so far grips hard.

@@americandream_89 Hey buddy love your channel. Where did you get your aftermarket drive belt or by chance do you have a part number? My 2019 lt70 is about due for a new one I’m starting to get some slippage at full adjustment. Thanks! 🙏
