Maybe to get the sheet of water you desire find some lead. (If it’s pond safe haven’t checked). Curve it and attach to the underside of poly pipe a so the water slides down, bend to maybe 2-3 inches above the water to still get the movement? Will give the fish something to hide under too which they will like! I don’t know just an idea 🙂 I’m going to be starting my pond project soon too! Koi and sturgeon

Hey thanks for stopping in! So I really like both for multiple reasons. Pool ponds are awesome because you can get 1,000 plus gallons of water for less than $100 which as you know is amazing! The only thing I don’t like about pools is that they are just a bit more difficult to make look nice. Wood ponds are very affordable as well and structurally strong if built correctly, the only downfall to wood in my opinion is after about the 500 gal mark, it starts to get significantly more expensive due to having to get those big cuts of lumber. So yeah I love both ! Haha

DON'T USE FOR FISH, DUE TO PVC IN THE MATERIAL"... Is that actually something to be worried about? And if so, are there certain brands to buy instead of others?

Tokes Outdoors I personally don’t worry about that, I have used intex brand and bestway brand pools with absolutely no issues. The way I look at it, the new pond liners that are made these days(the cheaper ones) are pvc liners. The only reason I went with a rubber liner on this pond was do to the crazy weather we have here in FL
