I was watching one of Clint's vids from C&C Equipment and saw a steel wheel compactor like y'alls at an auction he was at, and it got me to thinking. If you get him to keep an eye out at the auctions he goes to, he goes to the Fl one twice a year and many others, you might be able to get a great deal on a parts unit for some of your equip. I believe that compactor ended going for 106k!

I pulled a Morbark 1300 tub grinder and tractor out of the mud with a 3/8 chain from Catterpillar attached to a D8. People onsight couldnt believe it didnt break. Unfortunetely it did stretch 2 links so chain was not safe to use after that but it was free from Cat due to inspection tag out of date. I was a field service tech for Morbark at the time 1999. Slow speed shreder is definetely the way to go for pallets the nails will destroy inserts and hammers quickly on a tub grinder.

You guys need to buy a couple Yankum 2-1/2" recovery ropes. WLL of 67,000 lbs, MBS of 201,000 lbs. Pair them up with the 1-inch soft shackles and you have a SAFE recovery option for that heavy equipment. When steel cable or chains break, people can get badly injured. When synthetic recovery rope breaks, all of the stored energy is released safely. It's not a cheap solution, but no more worrying about an old rusty steel wire rope breaking when pulling out a heavy piece of equipment.
@TheRealMrDiGGАй бұрын
Those are really cool!

@@TheRealMrDiGG I always carry one of their 7/8” ropes in my Ford Ranger, just in case I come across someone stuck while I'm offroading or I come across someone who has slid off the road. Casey Ladelle uses them on his heavy wrecker (as well as all of his smaller winches) and has some great videos about them.

Ya gonna force me to do it the old school way 😂😂 so 8 blocks deep by 4 wide @ 4 foot per block = 32 foot by 12 foot . Do due to the heavy equipment probably a 6 inch deep pore so 32 x 12 x 6” … I would call it at 7 yards of concrete. But I would order 8 for low spots 😂😂 that’s based on our block up here around me . Half block is 2 foot full block is 4 foot but you can get them in different lengths 😂😂😂 there I spoiled the cliffhanger movie . ❤ Edited fur a few spell boo boo’s

When I was in my teens i helped take down a old deck at my grandparents house, when i was picking up piece's we had taken down to go throw in a burn pile i happen to step on a board with a nail in it an it went in the bottom and straight thru poking out the top. That hurt like a MF, my parents took me to the emergency and got a tetanus shot, luckily didnt do any damage to nerves or bones and no infection. I was glad to see them not using stupid hard hats (I can't wear one with neck problems, but do operate equipment as needed and work on a lot of military sites), but was worried about the guy wearing tennis shoes. Even my usual boots could be punctured by a nail, but not as easily as tennis shoes. One, and only one day, shooting lever action silhouette, I reset a 1/2" steel turkey and when I went to set the next target, the previous one fell and the beak broke my toe through my tennis shoe. Normally, I wear my boots at the range. Well, I shot the match and a fellow competitor reset steel for me. I won the match and then could hardly walk for 2 months. Safety is always a priority for me, but I am logical so don't tolerate safety sallies who don't work in the real world very well.........the compactor is immune from getting rocks stuck between the dual tires. My brother had a dual tire blow in his face, when he went to remove a stuck rock........I will learn from his mistake.

Howdy Ryan, not trying to tell a man his business on dozer tracks but the John Deer that ole A Aron was running there at the new cell needs the tracks tightened up a bit. They ain't sposta to have that much slack in them, they are a bit to lose. Plus I got a question for ya !?! How much further can you dig down in the new cell before you run out of quality material before you have to call it good on depth? Or is there a set limit on how far you can go? Cause out here at the landfill just across the way from my house they had a hard floor that they couldn't go past. The limit was sumthing like 20 or 30ft before the water table or something like that. Just wondering if yall have a hard floor that yall have to stay with in as well. Plus remember those compactor wheels that I mentioned to you a few video's back, that where setting on skids here at the landfill by my house. Well I was talking with the HMFIC ( Head Mother F****er In Charge ) there the other day and found out why they ain't been put on any machines and are just setting there. The center of the hubs are blowed smooth out in between the lugs and around the hub assembly where they tie into the drum. They had a operator that had a bad day so to speak. He was pushing and clearing the dumping floor and got a little to close to the edge and went off sideways and rolled the machine a couple times. It messed up the drums (wheels), knocked either both or one of the lifting cylinders off the blade, and sorta kinked the cab sideway a bit when it was rolling down the side. Luckly the operator walked away un scaved with only minor bumps and bruises. I figured that i'd at least let ya know that I was trying to find out the details on them and if possible get yall two connected so yall could talk business on what it would take for ya to get them and all. Welp I hope ya have a Great an Wonderful Day Today Sir, catch ya on the next one Peace Out.
