For years I heard this bird singing a duet alone. I finally was able to find out the bird I was hearing is a Wood Thrush! How I love them!

It's always just plain nice to hear this call in the woods, so clear and musical. Unmistakable too.

I live in west-central Maryland and there are tons of these in the woods around my house. They're magical little birds!

I have one in the woods where my home is. I have heard it for several years but never saw it. Woke up this past Saturday to it singing right outside my open bedroom window. Peeked outside and there it was. I was so happy to finally see it. Such a cutie!

Beautiful and mesmerising song ❤ I've been looking after a little thrush for 3 weeks now...I'm still not sure if it's a song ,mistle or wood thrush as they're similar to look at. Such a little character..it's now in a big aviary outside with natural dirt and leaf floor to learn to scratch about looking for bugs, worms and snails...one step from being released back where it was found in a forest in Brittany France.

Just saw this for the first time last night! I’ve seen the hermit thrush, so now I just gotta see the brown thrasher.
