Thanks Phil. Have to be honest I did not know how it would go but once that gouge touched the wood it just felt good. Not sure how the PT will go so not really planning anything yet. It is hard when I am not 2 weeks ahead on turnings. Things are getting much better for sure. Sitting around you can sure loose a lot of strength even in the good leg. Well you have a few months to catch up to the wise old age of 77. So enjoy it LOL😁🤐😃 Take care, Gary

A nice easy bowl with a simple but stylistic design to get back into the swing of things. Gee cherry a pretty wood, so easy to work as well. I know that your more than capable but as we age( happy birthday by the way) it’s hard to know when enough is enough. I feel you Gary I had ankle surgery nearly 2 years ago, if you do 3 days a week don't even think about trying weekly videos for at least a couple weeks. Pain is exhausting and you need time to heal and recover from the manliptaion.

Thank you Rick it is great being a able to stand. I still use the knee scooter to go very far in the house but I am able to walk around close to pain free. Need to do that just to get things moving. No big plans next week. Have to wait and see what happens with the PT. Take care, Gary
