Interesting design Rus, nice tiers. It is good to see so many different designs for vases and twig pots. Love your channel Rus, keep up the creative content...Dan

Nice video. I love the way you just jump in and do what you are going to do. Do you PREPLAN or are most of your finished designs what the wood wants to be? I remember in the distant past that a lot of my first attempts at bowls decided they wanted to be funnels instead 😁. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

@@thomlindgren6253 Thanks! I prefer not to beat around the bush. Just cut it down and go. Most of the time I have an idea of what I want to make but a lot of times that changes a lot as I go. I haven't had the pleasure of making a funnel yet, but I'm not really into turning bowls. No offense to the bowl turners but I get bored doing them.

What is the size of the limb you turn in this video and others making tea light holders?.
@RcWoodturningАй бұрын
This was about 2.5 inches. Most of them range between 2 to 4 inches.

is that a 5/8" OR A 3/4" bowl gouge you use mostley
@RcWoodturningАй бұрын
It's a 1/2 bowl gouge. With a smaller lathe anything bigger just bogs down the motor.
