In this video you'll see how I created a 300+ piece wooden Christmas tree. I used construction stakes called lathe to start with. You can find those at any survey supply company (usually), It's pretty easy to make and only requires the wood, a 4x6x8 for the base. A drill bit to create all the holes in the lathe, a metal gas pipe and floor flange. Then it's just a bunch of stacking pieces on top of one another. If you want to get fancy you can create names (for your coworkers) to put on the tree along with a wooden star.
