Dylan I've been in roofing since 1991. You did a very nice job. I'd ditch the boots on the roof for some Chuck Taylors. They were my favorites on the roof. Wet is just slippery. Period. But to increase your grip when dry, spray some pop on the roof. It will make it sticky and washes off when it rains.

Some insects like to burrow into foam for housing. The strip under the ridge vent is supposed to help keep bugs out of your spray foam.

You two are blessed! Sneakers/tennis shoes for roof work…, butyl tape between the roof sheets to keep water from getting in to the framing, screw thru the fascia, then thru roof sheet, the space between has a possibility of a leak, so you are absolutely correct to put butyl between, the rib won’t stop that. The screws have washers for the screw head, but what seals the hole under the fascia??? You did what you should. My wife and I enjoy your content, and your innocence and willingness to at least try!!! Never not try!
