Simplifying the process of carving the female nose in wood! This Knife only project is carved in a 2" x 2"x 4" basswood block cut diagonally! Female faces can be huge challenge so I thought I'd break it down into simple steps for you guys. Let me know what else you'd like to see!

great video again i wil start over just had the wood split wen i did the rolecut and it took a piece off the eyelid, probeley i most strob more .still haveing fun

Dang! This happened to me on a carving today! usually you can dig a little deeper to get the eyelid back!

I’m confused about your initial measurement. Is the bottom of the nose to the brow ridge the same as the brow to the turn of the head? You said double but I don’t think you meant it.

That’s perfect timing I was trying to figure out how to ask you for a female face. I only have time to carve at work on my break, because once I’m home I’m on daddy duties I only get an hr maybe hr and 20 mins most shifts. I have a ton of golfballs I got for free from the local golf course they were throwing away. I did your sailor and it turned out great was trying to message you on IG a photo but new message system wouldn’t allow me to just message you.

I notice there are a few seconds of filming where I am off camera but I think you can see enough to get the idea! I will be more aware of that next time, that's for sure.
