Somebody asked me where I get my ideas, they didn't like my answer , I said same place you do! Took them a few days to figure it out when I said just look around when your out for a walk, daydreaming, ideas come and go some people never know they have given someone else an idea when they talk about something. My favorite video so far! I love gnomes and was thinking about what else I could make to hang out with my gnomes and this is perfect. Not only that but you covered something that as a beginner strangely impacts what I want to make. I always feel so taboo making things out of more than one piece but if Doug Linker says it works then it works!

A carving idea/suggestion: Carve a totem pole of veggies that grow in your garden. Mr carrot, bean, corn, etc. tall and robust enough that it can be placed at the edge of the garden. If done correctly, it could be molded, reproduced and sold.
