I love Tom Killion's work - I love mailing his note cards to clients and everyone appreciates the NorCal / Japanese vibe! My father was Kibei (1st generation American, but educated in Japan) and although he was a dental lab technician and worked with dental tools, he still spent his weekends working on his woodblock prints. I would like to learn, feels like coming home to me. Thank you for this video, its very informative and beautiful!

I randomly pulled ‘The High Sierra of California’ by Tom and by Gary Snyder with all the gorgeous prints of that landscape and found my way to this video. Stunning! Thank you for sharing your art process!

Awesome work Tom!! In my spare time from teaching I am working on getting better to do landscapes like this. This video is 9 years old, what has changed in your work since then?

Yahweh kills over 2 million people AT LEAST according to the bible itself. Thankfully hes just a fairy tale, because he is truely a monster. If hes real he has no love for any of us
