Thank you! I just found your channel and subscribed. I am just getting ready to fashion a sheer clamp for the Haven 12 1/2 that I am building. I love your scarf jig. It is so simple. I will use the exact same method.

I was going to use my table saw....this seems much safer! Like how you used your tablesaw to, I wish I had done that with the initial sizing of the stringer.

Yes. It is super easy and precise with that jig. Good luck!

Hello Capitain Wulkies! Great job. Congratulations. I was doubt in the construction of the box where the keel will stay. I saw you lamined inside with fiberglass. Is this enough for the wood not to rot?
@wulkie6 жыл бұрын
Hi. It should be enough. After fiberglass, at least 3 coats of epoxy are needed.

That table saw is junk. Everything is moving there when you sawing. 🙈

Yes. I regret buying it as well

Captain Wulkie's Garage I understand you. Most of the makers struggle with which model to choose from and not spent too much for it. Mostly they have to fix and adapt it or make better guides for it at least. Not this wonky wiggly shit.

I built a jig for square cuts and i am happy for the moment. There is not much more to cut anyways for now

"Gunnel" is how you say it; "gunwale" is how you spell it.
@wulkie5 жыл бұрын
Are you sure?
@wes62444 жыл бұрын
Both are acceptable. You must be American because they tend to change the spelling of a word to the way it sounds.
