Gotta agree with the working on a running computer part. You're not really pro until you're comfortable fixing stuff inside a running computer. Also, you've made me realize how easily I can build a PC case myself. I've got plenty of thin MDF boards scrapped from old furniture. Plenty of tools, including a laser cutter, 3D printer and CNC mill, as well as access to everything thing Adobe and my school has paid for access to everything Autodesk, plus I already have two years of experience with Fusion 360 and 5+ years of experience working with SketchUp and a wee bit of Blender. I have zero excuse for not going as overkill as I want to go. I've got the skills, I've got the tools and if I decide to make a video, it'll be on my Arterexius channel

This is a really impressive build; you just earned yourself another sub. I have a custom-case rig (my main gamer, built directly onto a 27" monitor) built already, and I'm currently building another design for my old rig, both out of aluminium/composite material (using the most low-tech tools imaginable - everything is cut by hand with a Stanley knife). This video just gave me some new ideas around multi-layering, something I didn't previously consider since my current builds are both centered around ultra-size-reduction.

The case turned out really cool! However, how do thermals look like as you have a weird fan configuration with all fans blowing air out of the case - there is no intake. Also, negative pressure setups lead to much more dust finding its way through.

I don't want the hot radiator air on the components. Cool air comes from the front. Hot air leaves out the top

Just saw this video and thought I’d do this for my brother for Christmas, have the plans been updated to tell you how to put the case together. And the amount of each material needed?

Unfortunately, while we have the plans available in patreon, it is not a comprehensive build instruction. We provided it more to show people the pieces we used and if you wanted to build it yourself, you could try. This was our first attempt at fusion/3d modeling so the files arent at a polished point. We have no plans at this time to get the files to that point either.

“And I’m not going to put any money into a graphics card until the 30 series comes out. So we’ll be running with what we have in here until those are available.” Oh no. Either way, it’s an amazing case!
